Harding is barely in Trespasser.

 

But she's there and definitely placed as increasingly important in it. Just not this specific plot.

 

In terms of the future, especially a Harding romance, it remains possible for the next game, with how things were left.

Weird that in my PT I didn't romance any followers but flirted with Harding through the main game and JoH. In Trespasser I am asked if I ever took Harding out and I could reply that I did.

I can see that happening, it's what I would do. Have her recruit/join you for your adventure.
