So! Finished DLC. It was short but oddly satisfying. My main question is how many LIs can actually get married. I know of Sera and Cullen, but what about the others?

Those are the only two unfortunately.
Blackwall, Cassandra, Dorian, Josephine, Solas, and The Iron Bull don't have an option for them and the Inquisitor to get married.

Solas runs away before you have a chance to propose. He also destroys one of your hand, to make sure you understand he ain't gonna put a ring on it.
But I thought he wanted it...

As I said earlier, the only ones that have it as an option is Cullen and Sera. Everyone else gets screwed.

Well, that depends on the LI and the choices you made. What I meant was that only Cullen and Sera have the option to get married.

I would have like to have the option to marry Josephine, at least. The option for all of them certainly would have made things interesting, but it would fit Josephine's character well, similar to Cullen in my opinion.

Comment of the day. So my elf has commitment issues! That's why he was in such a hurry to get out of there. After all, I had one other good hand!
EDIT: oh, wait, so the Inquisitor can now only wear one ring instead of two, and that'd be the marriage ring? Hey, I want my ring bonuses!

If you are romancing Josephine and talk to Cassandra, she will ask if you are planning to get married. You can state that you are considering it.

Seeing her in a wedding dress was one of my all time fav DA moments. And her journal afterwards is so freaking sweet I teared up.

I can't speak for any of the others, but Josie and Cassandra (non divine) romances are happy endings. While there are no marriages, there are hints at it happening in the future. (More directly with Cassandra). You move in with Josie, and Cassandra and the Inquis stay together.

Agreed. I was hoping to marry her and retire to Antiva. Alas, that was not the case.

Is it really so hard to headcanon marriage into otherwise nicely done romance endings? I don't understand getting acrimonious about any of the romances where the Inquisitor/LI are happily together, wedding cutscene or no.

Marriage in DA, much like in the real world, is just a contract and a show of affection between two people... but there are other ways to show affection and being marriage doesn't always equal being happier than someone else that for reason or another can't tie the knot or doesn't want to.
Now I haven't played Trespasser yet, but I'm not sad there won't be a 'marriage' between my canon inquisitor and their LI... I don't know if other love interests get different option/scene instead of marriage but I won't mind if they don't. Simply acknowledging the fact that there is/was a relationship is fine by me.. I don't get what the fuss is about tbh.

Kind of like real life.
I'm sure it wasn't "hey let's screw over everyone who loves Solas, won't that be fun?" It was right for the story that this happen the way it did. And that's what we're really asking for.
Amazing storytelling that makes us feel a wide variety of emotion. And they succeeded, at least for me. I'm excited at the future. If you'll excuse me I need to find the DA4 threads now.
