can I really get all those awesome new belts and amulets through random loot in chests?
Opened 50-60 chests the last 3 days and got nothing new at all

I've gotten some new stuff.  The crazy belts, one of the amulets, savage thorn (last night - hooray),  So, it's possible but not necessarily common.

since the patch... Probably only spent 30k gold.

 

I've actually been getting all the accessories I have been grinding for months for.... Like the Superb Cooldown and a second SHoK in the past few days.

The weapons that are 25+ are set to be unique in that once you have one you can't get another of that specific item until you have all of them. This also applies to one specific amulet.

Not sure I understand, if I get a blue level 26 maul I have to wait to get the purple one before getting a blue 26 dagger?  Or do you mean that I will only ever get a blue level 26 maul once.

 

(Is this reset if a person gets rid of the blue level 26 by breaking it down?)

It's the All physical resist one and Lefaey has it.

You still get knocked down. So maybe it give stagger immune. We've not quite worked it out yet.... or its bugged.

Really sounds to me as if the level 25+ items are unique. I.e. no duplicates til you get one of everything in that group. The Hakkon weapon system already works similarly: If you have a particular Hakkon weapon in your inventory, you won't see a duplicate of that weapon unless you dismantle the one you have. Although with the last patch, you can get another Hakkon dagger.

 

It's a good system, IMO. Can't recall how many dozen bow of the griffons I dismantled way back when...

Doesn't seem to be true for me. I get extras unless I somehow got an amulet I'm not aware of. I've spent around 300-400k so far.

Looking at the table the ones set to be unique are:

 

1 Bow

1 Dagger

1 Greataxe

1 Shield

3 Longswords

1 Amulet

Hakkon Weapons

Descent Unique Weapons

 

If you happen to have all of these you can get the

I've spent about 150K since the patch. Snagged Heart of Pride as well as most the belts / amulets. 

 

Still missing a bloody dragon rage ring...I think I have every other ring...

 

Don't expect to get anymore of the new weapons for quite a while.
