Because I'm using it on Zither and he's not a god yet? He is more like 90's Bowie as apposed to Ziggy Stardust 70's Bowie.

Definitely wondered about this. I was pretty excited to use it, but it didn't feel like much of an upgrade.

Assuming you're in the highest loot bucket, it's ~.05% on each item card you get.

 

Lol, wow I just pulled a second one yesterday too.

 

Curious though, what were the chances for ultra rares in ME3 MP? Cause, .05% seem very low.

Yeah, this is specifically unique from the requisition chests, not the item itself. The Dragon, for instance, still has the Unique tables for Hakkon weapons (and is still the fastest way to get your first 4)

How "RNG" is this "RNG"? Like, is it still possible to get Hakkon weapons and the other endgame weapons from chests (does this also include the ones in locked rooms?) without being at the loot threshold just at an even lower chance at getting them or is it literally impossible for them to appear if you're not past the loot threshold?

I think the walking fortress shield (forgot what it's called) probably counts as a Descent Unique Weapon.

I started about 10 days ago.   The first 20K I spent on chests was on Patch 9.   I got lv22 ish sword, 2-handers, bows, staff (blue and purple) for the first 10 chests.  After that Patch 10 hits.   I am now at about 90K gold spent and I haven't gotten anything better.   Just about everything I got was under level 10.  Did I get really lucky in the beginning?

Yes. Better loot drop rate gets better after you spend a few 100ks and get into the higher loot buckets, but the <10 drops are always expected.

Realistically, you got one in like ~10 chests (but often less). There was this long experiment that one guy conducted and over many rolls (more than 3000) the drop rate for the best packs was determined to be around 8% but as I said my experience with the UR is usually a higher percent. Please, don't even try to compare the two loot systems, ME3's one was superior by leaps and bounds and got you the sense of progression that keeps you from super desperation mode.
