I wanted to buy the trespasser dlc sometime this week but someone told me that its current,y buggy right now.

I was told not to use the Lunge & slash ability or other wise the game will crash (I abuse this ability alot in the base game).

Whats even interesting is that the game will say gaspard will rule orlais no matter who you placed on the emperor throne. (Remember the Dark ritual bug in the DAO Which hunt dlc? very similar)

Is everyone having these problems listed above? These problems will be fixed soon right? Thanks

I have the ruler problem as well on PS4.

 

I completed Trespasser once and now when I try to start it with another character the game crashes :/

I also have the ruler bug, I'm on PC. I'm quite angry, because I hate Gaspard and love Celene, so...

Currently playing it on PC. No ruler bug or crashes which I WAS expecting. So I'm not sure what's causing the issues and why I haven't seen any so far.

No mods installed BTW.

I had Gaspard as ruler. I'm on ps4

Yes everyone is being affected by the Gaspard thing, this does not affect what is being exported to the keep, it is an issue with that conversation only. 

 

Also with Trespasser there is secondary upgrades on all abilities now, only one of them is a problem for lunge and slash (the one that has a chance of no cost).

Ok, but does the lunge and slash problem affect the base game as well? I want to replay my campaign in the meantime to wait for the next patch. I would like to try out the new difficulty trials the dlc adds in the meantime.

Lol the Orlesian ruler was a funny one. "its because of the inquisition that gaspard sits on the throne". "Wait what??"

I had the Ruler problem too, but didn't know it was a bug, because I found a gossip letter that talked about Celene & Briala (I did reconsile them in my PT) so it made me wonder, if I accidentally had made them rule together (all three of them)
 
Another bug: Some cut scenes ended very abruptly, with cut off words and scenes.

 

Not a bug per-se, but important for people with mage Inquisitors:

 
Do not use the Lyrium Staff, or a crafted version of that staff in Trespasser.
 
There is one scene, where the staff's head will obscure most of of the screen and all you'll see, will be the back of the head of your inquisitor and the staff's head.
