I wish MP could have gotten the toggle upgrades from the Trespasser DLC

For those who don't know, once you've bought and downloaded the Trespasser DLC every vanilla ability in the game gets an additional upgrade. Once you upgraded an ability you can toggle between either one of the upgrades; but you can never have both at the same time. Here's a link to those new upgrades.

I think they will. I can't think of a reason they wouldn't want to make builds more interesting.

Also, a comment from Luke regarding skill changes:

    1. Some of the changes I didn't mention may make sense tomorrow when Trespasser goes live [:bandit:]

They'd need to come up with ones for skills that don't exist in the SP campaign, just to keep the Saarebas, Virtuoso, Duelist and Avvar in line with the rest.

This is definitely an optimistic interpretation.

The other could be we didn't understand because we didn't know about the skill toggling. Now it exists, but it probably can't be ported over to MP. That's another interpretation, maybe more pessimistic, but maybe more realistic?

Leaping Shot
Rolling Draw: Next attack after does 200% bonus damage
Shot from the shadows: After striking with leaping shot, retreat into the shadows (i.e. stealth)

Just look at this LS second upgrade
I think it will break the game

its no different to the deathblow mechanic for other rouges, you use it you stealth you use it again for instant damage boost and pop straight back into the shadows, and you can spam it so long as you have a couple of people with party crit cd reduction passives on, i used it with a couple of normal hits one in a while to regenerate stamina for maximum damage on my assassin and kept wondering why the hunter had no such similar abilities when he gets a damage boost for being point blank .....

I think some will be added.... My question was answered during the Tresspasser DLC livestream.

I said "Is this upgraded warhorn going to be available in the MP?"  and Luke said something like "Yes... something something.... blah.... and I'll make all your wishes come true including 15 new maps"  or something along those lines.  :P

I might of exagerated the last bit.... however he did confirm it, so I'm assuming other skill upgrades are coming too.

Some of the reworked abilities in MP are using the "other" toggle instead of the original one. I very, very much doubt they'll add the toggle system to MP in its entirety. There are some especially OP ones, such as Leaping shot activates stealth

Was seriously underwhelmed til I saw the new toggles under Battlemaster. Someone designed those new modifiers perfectly.

But yeah, I think we're just going to automatically get some of the toggles there. It's like how To the Death currently uses "Who's Next?". 30% damage bonus for 10 seconds after target dies. Not bad.

Yea, some of the MP powers have both already.  Would be nice to have a toggle for the ones that have effects that are very different or OP by allowing both. Been using TTD much more often now instead of it being situational.  However I dont see all of them being added.  Auto stealth after leaping shot on an archer would be stupid OP as well as 500% damage added to pull of the abyss or a necro with multiple pets.

Yes! :D This would be amazing! Obviously some toggle abilities wouldn't be included, like those to do with focus and those that potentially break the game (eg maybe archer won't get a toggle on leaping shot, but Hunter still could). And of course, all of the new abilities since May wouldn't have a toggle (which is fine, frankly, as they're all balanced around MP anyway. And it's not like you can use both upgrades at once). But this is definitely something that will drastically improve the game, and all they have to do is import 80% of it from singleplayer, and do a bit of balancing :) I'm especially looking forward to Wall of Flame, Wisps of the Fallen (Spirit Mark) and Terror (Horror) :3
