Hi,
I have emailed support about this but gotten no response. I really want my screen name changed for Social Bioware. When I was setting up the account I accidently entered my current playthrough characters name thinking that was what was wanted. Is there any way to fix this? I don't like looking at my name as the character name of my least favorite Dragon Age playthrough. This name is now also popping up on EA and elsewhere because of profile links...Arrgh.
My Name and Gamer Tag is Eostre Rites. I would prefer to be called that or just Eostre. Pretty please with cherries.
Is possible?

Unfortunately, changing your screen name is not possible

You do have the option of registering anew, creating a new EA account and losing all data on it* in the process. You can contact EA support about transferring entitlements between EA accounts. If you choose to do that, though, I strongly advise you to change the current e-mail to something else such that you can create a new account with your current e-mail address (I'm guessing you'd want to keep that one).
*You wouldn't actually lose-lose it, it would just not be readily accessible.

Would I still be able to link with my Gamer Tag?

I suppose before you do anything you should confirm with EA that they are able to move Gamertags as well. I think I saw somebody mention they had it done but I'm not sure.

frick.
One tiny mistake and I'm a Cous' forever.
So, I went to EA and they have my name correctly. Eostre Rites and it's linked to my gamer tag, so why is it wrong here? *sigh*

Top right corner. Welcome, EOSTRE RITES.
I don't understand what I've done, but it appears to only show November on the bioware sites. I thought it was also on EA, but that's not the case.

There is a unique forum display name for this site, that is totally different from any other EA persona, which at this point there is no way to change.

I wanted to figure out how exactly this works. I have bad news.
If you create an account here, delete it, and register again to the same EA account, the old username will be retrieved. I could find no way around this. It is not the EA ID; it would seem it is stored somewhere behind the scenes (even if you change the e-mail address this site still "correctly" retrieves the username).

Man, that sucks, but it will teach me to be more careful when filling out forms...
