Queen cousland isn't a ruler of anything in my canon, she does not even exist, and it is possible to not have a GW on the throne.
Also tegan claims were legitimate.

She's a Warden Commander in mine, and about the GW thing, isn't it a bit too old fashioned? It's been ages sense that, I think Teagan should've made a comment about Adament (blood scarfices! The works!) and I wouldnt complain.

When did AListair did something?
the entire adventure is piloted by the main warden in every decision.

Yeah, well he's still a GW. And he does become King (if you do something about it) but even if, that's him doing something !

Impossible to hate Teagan after fighting by his side to defend Redcliffe in Origins.

It's the hat's fault. It looks horrendous. Plus his rather large nose and his resentment after seeing a Magister lay siege on Redcliffe, it's no wonder he was spitting fire at the Council like a dragon who had his tail stepped on.

You should blame his personal stylist. He clearly hired one to look fancy in Halamshiral, but it's obvious the man doesn't know what he's doing.

If you ask me, the stylist is probably an Orlesian. I bet this was Lord Cyril's doing. It must be an Orlesian plot to demoralize the Fereldan delegate.

I don't normally use a punch option in games but I would have used it for Teagan if available or at least the opportunity to tell him off. I wish he was there when Inky did her rant.

I've never ever wanted to punch someone in the throat more than i did as i played this dlc. Teagan is an ungrateful little turd and i wish i could've just had the option of beating his ass all the way back to Redcliff

I was staring at Tegan the whole time in Trespasser like he was from some alien race. He always seemed much more measured than Eamon who is an arse of the first order. And in my world, Alistair rules alone and in no way can I see him sending messages like that for Tegan to bang on like that. Anora, maybe (yuk) but not Alistair.

That was all quite unrealistic. But entertaining to see Ferelden and Orlais swap roles for once, if nothing else.

Truth be told I had to make sure I heard right in the game that the man was Teagan.

All I can say is: W.T.F. happened? Its like a completely different character. Sure he is older, but, one: he looks nothing like he did and two he's a complete ass. And what the heck is he wearing? Did he shop at Hobo's' R' Us?

The Teagan I knew would not have been so bitter and angry with the Inquisition nor the Wardens.

Maybe a demon took control of him or is impersonating Teagan. There has to be some sort of explanation as to why Teagan is such a d!ck now.

Well, Eamon has been his "advisor" aka puppeteer the whole time, also, it's ok people likes Alistair but let's not deny the truth, he has never been a good person, no one on that family has.

In therms of rule, that depends if you hardened Alistair or not. And either way, Alistair ten years down the line is quite a different kettle of fish to what he was in DAO - you can see that from the larger cameo he has as a Warden if nothing else.

Do you mean Alistair or Eamon being a bad person? Eamon is a tool for sure, but you can't judge anyone based on their entire family.

He was surprisingly civil, given the circumstances.

The Inquisition looks an awful lot like an Orlesian organization from the outside. Of course Fereldan nobles are going to be suspicious about it. The Orlesian occupation is still quite recent (it ended during Teagan's lifetime), and the chevaliers are salivating for an excuse to invade again.

I'm not like Alistair, I'm not judging anyone for its bloodline, Connor may be free from my assessment, and Teagan was free from it....until now, but the rest, their actions put them under such assessment, Eamon for obvious reasons, Isolde hired a blood mage to keep his son out of the Circle, Alistair is the sole dude on history that rage quits from Wardens for a tantrum, even when there is a cursed Archdeamon threatening the country, Fiona started a war without even knowing how to fight it, then she's gave Redcliffe to the Venatori because of idiocy and fear, so no, I'm not judging them for belong to that family, I'm judging their actions.

Also, what!!? Eamon is not a tool, Eamon is the kind of person that use others as tool.

It's so interesting to see how different people see things  :) Can't stand Eamon tbh (tool is like calling him a dick in English - not meaning to be patronising, just wanted to explain it in that context) - he just goes around manipulating people towards his own ends. But I hear you on Fiona, can't stand her either. I'm struggling to read The Calling simply because she's in it. Ditto Isolde - a nasty piece of work only interested in what's good for her.

Alistair only quits if you support Loghain at the Landsmeet though no? I've never chosen that option as (Loghain is super annoying) and a drunk Alistair doesn't work in my head whatsoever based on what he says throughout the rest of the game. It's the second most awful outcome in DA ever.

There's also the comic books who give us an insight about Alistair-as-king: apparently, if he get the crown, he goes from awkward overgrown boy who happen to be very good with a sword to a more socially apt nobleman... who's still very good with a sword.

Spoiler

Like if seeing him turning on me just for taking a logical choice on the landsmeet, and then seeing him taking every amoral decision that he could on Darkspawn Chronicles wouldn't be enough to sign his death sentence, are you really going to remind me the comics where he proved himself as an ungrateful treacherous bastard (again) that had to be saved by many characters and where the father he was supposed to save ended being the one who killed the main villain? Some people called that "character suicide" I call it "he's always been an ungrateful traitor" and then sending Teagan to disband my Inquisition after I cleaned up his mess on Redcliffe, that was just the lovely cherry on the cake.

I'm more offended that he got pretty much beat down with the ugly stick. Am now eternally grateful neither Zevran nor Fenris made an appearance in DAI...

The only reason he looked so smooth in Origins was because GPUs had a harder time with wrinkles back then. His Inquisition appearance matches his canon age a bit better.

True Sort of.

Yes, there is a large change with graphics between all the games. However Teagan from Origins to DA2 looked like, well, Teagan. The transition from DA2 to DA3 looks like Teagan became some late 60 year old bitter beggar.

Look at Varric, Cassandra, etc....they look exactly like their DA2 characters. But Teagan...um....

Teagan has a right to be a little grumpy. For one, he is an older man who was rudely ejected from his castle in DAI by mages which is pretty embarrassing no matter your personality. And at the beginning of Trespasser there is a foreign non-Fereldan power in control of an important keep that is a short stop from Denerim. This all strikes me as a series of setbacks for a nation that fought for its independence and survival in two recent wars.

Honestly, to me at least, his attitude was that that of an out-of-town lawyer attempting to cobble together a reasonable legal argument to match his position (one he may not even care for). Fereldan does not have a strong hand in these negotiations, where as Orlais can afford candor due to their buying power and military strength. I would be pretty upset if I were him, although I am sad my current character is not on good terms with him like before even after I repayed him for damages caused by the mages in Redcliffe.

As for the looks he is fine. Not as jarring as Loghain's new face if you ask me, with his perfect black hair despite being one of the oldest surviving characters in the series by that point.

He looks so much better in DAO! I blame Bioware for it though, and that beanie looks horrible. Please, I think Bioware needs to fire the dude that creates their hats, it doesn't even look like a beanie... It looks like a upside bucket on his head (yes, I'm agreeing with the other person who said this)

I'm worried about his mental state. He keeps seeing Gaspard on the throne (even if he's dead).

That bug caught me off guard. I almost panicked until I remembered that I ran across a codex entry mentioning Celene and Briala's ongoing relationship earlier in the gardens.

He still wore that cool, long hairstyle by the time he paid a visit to Kirkwall. So his apparent hairlessness is recent.

I guess seeing mages and templars murder each other everywhere, then the Divine being blown to bits and a huge green arse open in the middle of the the sky does tend to make one lose hair fast.

LMAO! Maybe he is so distraught over his disheveled look from previous games, he has slumped into madness.

If Teagan says, "I see dead people." I am going to smack him....with his ugly hat. :P
