No, changed some other armor through cheat engine.

He basically changed the appearance of his  armour with the reaver armor.

There must be a way to legitimately unlock these in-game. I know when the main games release, there's sometimes armor or weapons that aren't implimented in the finished game, but surely they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of creating meshes for all these armours for both genders and all races a year after release, then deliberately putting them in the DLC files, just to leave them lingering in the background unused.

 

Rare rewards for the Trials maybe? Something linked to stuff you do in MP with the character whose outfit it originally was? With all these new items being added to the main campaign, it feels like it did just after DAI released, with everyone scrabbling around trying to figure out how to get everything and just what is even available.

Griffon Robes and Mail are from Destroy the Darkspawn and Contacting the Hero of Ferelden wartable missions, so I'm guessing Griffon Plate is another wartable reward?

I'm assuming the reaver came from the operation, the poster above seems to suggest that.

Dont know, the reaver armor was obtained by changing the appearance of another armor with the reaver armor. But we still do not know where the armor actually is.

There are 3 that we know of come from operations, the sentinel plate, the griffon medium(which was a schematic iirc) and the alchemist rigging. Some of the others may be tied to operations as well, it's just a matter of finding out which ones.

Reaver armor is reward from war table operation Break. Unfortunately you don't get schematic from it.

Funny enough I just did the "Locate the Warden" or however it's called war table operation before starting my second playthrough of Trespasser, and the Griffon Mail was the item The Warden sent to my rouge. I didn't even have an idea it was DLC related until now.

 

I guess you can get all 3 schematics by doing that operation on a mage, rouge, and warrior.

.. you do realize there is a templar armor schematic right, infact you actually have a schematic as most of the other sets are armors NOT schematics.

in the astrarium chest from Storm Coast. Not sure if those are random loot or not?

Though I can't say if there's a schematic for it. Haven't found one yet if there is.

The blade effect is only visible when drawn. Honestly it reminds me a lot of the prismatic weapons from Everquest 2 except obviously much better quality art. XD

Any way to get that outside of doing this stupid fireworks show? Been at it for two hours now and got so close to the 80 needed for the schematic but I've started sucking from frustration now.

 

Edit: Overcame the suckage. Sweet sword is sweet.
