Thanks for the info.

 

There must be a way to legitimately unlock these in-game. I know when the main games release, there's sometimes armor or weapons that aren't implimented in the finished game, but surely they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of creating meshes for all these armours for both genders and all races a year after release, then deliberately putting them in the DLC files, just to leave them lingering in the background unused.

 

Rare rewards for the Trials maybe? Something linked to stuff you do in MP with the character whose outfit it originally was? With all these new items being added to the main campaign, it feels like it did just after DAI released, with everyone scrabbling around trying to figure out how to get everything and just what is even available.

I literally cannot find this mission- where is it? I even went back and ran through the Well of Sorrows again, and I still don't seem to have the 'research the Well" quest.

It's at the war table, after completing What Pride... [x]

I had the same issue with that war table mission - completed What Pride Had Wrought and it didn't show up at all, even after leaving/returning to Skyhold and clearing a whole bunch of extra missions.

 

Despite the DA Wiki simply stating Pride has to be finished, I'm starting to think it only appears if certain choices are made during it.

Does it have something to do with jumping down the hole or doing the rituals? Just throwing out guesses. I got it and did the rituals.

Can someone find and show images of the T3 Longsword schematic called Brand and the heavy armor Griffon Plate? I know how to get the armor schematic from the first page using the Contact the Warden table mission but I would like to find out how to get the Longsword Schematic.

 

Really tempted to use Cheat Engine but I have never used it so I don't know how and I don't want to risk messing up the game.

I've used cheat engine to get schematics for a long time, and I've never had an issue with it messing up my game. It's always a good idea to get in the habit of backing up your saves though.

Brand can be obtained after catching 5 Harlequins in Winter Palace (during Trespasser DLC). As fro Griffin heavy armor... I'm still looking. Unfortunately found only light and medium ones till now.

As far as I'm aware, Contact the Hero of Ferelden will always reward the Griffon Mail schematic, regardless of player class. Logically, given that the Griffon Robes schematic is rewarded from Destroy Darkspawn Outbreak, you'd think Griffon Plate would come from somewhere, but so far I don't think anyone has even seen it.

 

As an aside, I was rewarded a set of Griffon Mail as a reward for An Offer from the Blades of Hessarian when completed with Leliana.

 

As for Brand, it's identical in appearance to the Longsword hilt in the shape of a woman that can be found in the vanilla game, with no visible blade until you unsheath it.

I had Even Ground, Rest Easy, Travel Light (switched off after In Hushed Whispers), Take it Slow and Grizzly End switched on. During a bit over 3 hours of my play (I was working on Trial of Fools achievement), I got message about shipment twice. Though for some reasons I have only one reward (maybe you need to take it out every time?).

But I didn't get schematic at the first time. I saved before taking reward, then reloaded if I didn't like it. That way I stumbled upon this.

So just installed cheat engine. My next question is how do i use it to get the items on the list. All I want is the schematic for Griffon Plate, the Brand schematic, and the Best Defense schematic.

I think you need to do something (or at least not idle too much), but that's just based on what I've seen myself so far. 

Both messages appeared during my active playing (one during IHW and the other one durning IYHSB). Also got one on another character - during active playing as well (while finishing HLtA).

I've had the issue with only one reward too. Had four messages pop, but when I went to the chest I only had one piece of Fade Touched Silverite waiting for me.

 

That said, knowing that reloading changes the reward can at least help us get something more interesting for our trouble.

Yeah, reloading really helps. I saw some pretty amazing accessories, unique weapons (with The Best Defense among them) and that one schematic (though I've heard that there are other ones available thru this, even t3 ones).
