Have any fellow sentinels out there tinkered with creating optimum builds?

I'm still early in the game, but I'm trying to plan out my skills.  What have you guys had sucess with?

I was thinking of maxing out Warp and Overload.  But what else?  Tech?  Guardian?  There's some interesting choices to be made...

I'm on my second playthrough as sentinel (originally planned to be an infitrator). I've found Guardian and Assault Armor, then the advanced power of either Reave or Warp Ammo to be useful. I've also gotten Area Throw for laughs when crossing the skybridge. Warp, while nice, only seems very useful when used in combos for the bonus damage) - Reave is basically enhanced warp (does significant damage to organics and synthetics, siphons life from organics, momentarily stuns and does double damage to barriers and armor, and can be made into Area Reave or Heavy Reave). I usually spend the one point left over for something like cryo blast or perhaps warp.

Interesting... How about overload?  Seems like it would be useful for shielded enemies that Reave can't touch.

I had overload for a while, but I usually end up traveling with Tali, Garrus or Zaeed, and the first two have Overload, the last has Disrupting Ammo. So you may want to take it if you don't tend to travel with the same bunch.

Sentinels can use Reave and Warp Ammo???   :huh:

I'm playing as one now and always felt there was never any Sentlove out there, but with those mods/special abilities I'm gonna like this class even more!

You can use every teammates locked ability. When you do your teammates special quest you'll get an achievement that not only unlocks it for them but allows you to either start a new game with a bonus talent or gives you the option of buying an upgrade in the normandy's research center titled "advanced training" which gives you an extra talent.

If your using a Sentinel and you want to be a rediculous tanker, I advise not to get barrier or fortification. They're the same as Tech Armor but without the bonus of stunning anything.

10 heavy/area reave (both are supurb)

10 power armour

10 Raider

6 overload (dosnt need to be rank 4 waste of points)

3 throw

10 heavy warp

1 ??? PROFIT!!!



thats the build im gonna be using hit with reave then use warp to make them explode even more hehe p.s. try and get your cooldown as much as possible

I LOOOOOVE sentinel..

Maxed out:



Throw (With guardian max it`s 3 sec reload time, those husks fly all over the place)

Warp

Guardian (Recharge time is a nice car)

Overload



Used Jacob (Heavy Pull and Ammo type which i cant remember) and Thane/Garrus ++

But adapted to the enemies i was facing



Worked well for me :)
