So I've found three items of the Taken Shape set (I believe there is also an armor set around somewhere). Thing is, even with all three on a character, none of the "stackable bonuses" that are "activated upon ability use" are working. There's no health regen or speed boost granted. How do these items work? Do I need the complete set to get a specific ability that triggers them?

You'll need the armor, where'd you find the belt? The armor's near the library and a red egg when you click has an option to discharge and reveals a hidden path in the Crossroads.
