That's right, Blasto is mentioned in game.
On Illium, if you stand in the general area outside of the docking area, you may hear a voice on a loudspeaker, similar to the kind of voice you'd hear in Presidium elevators from the first game.
If you're lucky, there will be mention of a "hanar" movie, and the lead actor, Blasto!
