You give us awesome gear we'll never be able to use, the story was just...off? The ending felt like it came out of nowhere and several plot points felt off or were missing entirely.
It just felt like a let down. Plus bugs, of course. Wouldn't be a bioware game without bugs.
Am I the only one who feels like Tresspasser was a disappointment?

I think you're in the minority. I liked the story, personally. Plus you can always use the golden nug if you wanna have the armor earlier on.

Lots of bugs which annoyed me, i'll agree that they were disappointing. But other than that i really enjoyed it, thought it ended the story of the Inquisition well, and you got to see where the characters ended up, we also find out where the series is probably heading.

Too much speculation and excitement to finally being an Imperial in the possible next game, I can't be disappointed currently.

Compared to the original DAI ending, it was God sent.
Everything about Solas was hinted as far back as DAO and DA2. Remember Sandal in DA2 saying "He will rise and the sky will open. Everything would go back to the way it used to be".
It had tragedy, bittersweet and had a compelling villain compared to spooky evil moustache twirling overlord Corypheus who died like a fool.
We even got us some lore answers compared to Morrigan in Witch Hunt going "Change is coming! Lol, bye!" and a much better sequel bait.
Also the last boss fight was gripping compared to Cory who was a joke.

but I agree that the story is a letdown. Felt like a fifth grader wrote it. One line in particular. I have just uncovered a plot that the qunari want to destroy/invade Thedas and all my Inquisitor can say is "they are going to kill me!"
As if it's my Inquisitors fault. As if she hasn't already risked life and limb to save other peoples lives and that this info would only add support for the Inquisition, not lead to its being disbanded.

Solas is to blame for what happen, Solas had a big role in the founding of the inquisition whatever they want to admit it or not, plus the Inquisition was too corrupted it had to be disbanded or changed.

I can't fathom the darkness of a heart who complains about Trespasser, seriously. The blight is surely strawberry icecream compared to your poisoned heart. Please do not enter the Golden City.
Only bug I can complain: Wrong ruler of Orlais, Briala + Celene is a big deal for me (and surely means a lot in this DLC - Briala+Eluvians and stuff)

the armor? As in the craftable armor without the cool effects? And the accessories that we never really got to play with?

OST was incredible. Story and character interaction were pretty good, although everyone seemed to be suffering from plot-induced stupidity (seriously, if the Qunari can figure out that Solas is affiliated with Fan'Haerl, the Inquisition should be able to.)
But it doesn't sit well with me that we basically had to pay for what felt like the 'true' ending to the game.. it wasn't as jarring as, say, the vanilla ME3 ending, but I do think DAI's ending pre-Trespasser is weak. I hope this isn't the start of a trend, and that Bioware take their time and hash out solid plot conclusions in future installments.

I actually really liked it, it is by far the best dlc for me. The ending with Solas was pretty amazing, i mean we get to know more about the elves and everything, not to mention that people kinda suspected he will be trouble in the future. The fact that this was about the Inquisition and wheter it is still needed or not was kind of a surprise for me too, i was expecting it to be just a side note in the DLC but you can actually choose to disband at the end or pretty much disband, that is going to play a big role in the next game i think, with resources etc, but otherwise its gonna be pretty much the same regardless i think. All in all, we got a big wrap up, big reveal and sort of shocking ending. Great gameplay tbh, i enjoyed the eluvians and some of the items are just insanely overpowered, my mage quizzy was just wrecking the crap out of the Qunari on nightmare.
I will be replaying it on my other quizitors and maybe i will come up with some legitimite criticism but aside for Arl Teagan being a jerk, which i really dont belive he would be and the fact that you cant really speak to the council between the fights the DLC was amazing.
I deffo would have liked some more conversations with the council, trying to explain our standpoints etc but i think everyone can roleplay that in their minds ![]()
But true about the bugs, i usually dont get any but this time i had bug where cutscene wouldnt load twice and also everyone thought i put Emperor on the throne, even tho it was Celene, its even said in the codex, people just had their minds elsewhere ![]()

I really liked Trespasser, it was a great DLC. I even don't miss Skyhold ( I was surprised). I'm really sad that their is no other DLC coming. We should make a pedition .... or collect money ... or souls ..... or whatever Bioware wants to have, that they make one more DLC, like Trespasser. ![]()
BUT: I understand people who are sad. I was sad about Jaws and Descent. And I also understand people who are really sad about their romances in Trespasser. Nothing is perfect:
I'm sad for myself, that my Inquisitor is now an invalid.
Bioware always kill or handicap their heros ... or they are "missed". ![]()
Wait NO - I'm very, very happy that Hawke is back in Kirkwall. One of three heros are allright, alive, probebly happy and still have all legs & arms. I hope my little Hawke have wonderful sex with Fenris and make about 12 children.
Yeah!
This was really a good message. ![]()
PS: We must not be unpolite just because somebody don't like Trespasser.

It's no different then having to buy the expac for BG2 to get the true ending for BG2.

The ending came out of nowhere? Really?! You did play Inquisition first right?
I'm not saying it was an obvious ending, but there is so much in the main game that is hinting at Solas and his plans, especially considering the post-credits scene. I didn't figure out his plans before hand or anything, but when he came out with it I wasn't shocked.
I thought Trespasser was awesome, BW deserve all the credit they get for this one. The little letter/note from the BW team just before the credits, that was such a nice touch.

There was alot of hints towards Solas and his end game. Only way it comes out of nowhere is if you simply didn't pay attention and didn't watch the post ending screen.

I had some minor quibbles w/ it, one that it was a bit too short, but all in all, I liked it. And yeah, compared to the original ending on DAI it was wonderful. Plus, Cassandra during the credits was worth the price alone.
