Come on Bioware we want those magnificent robes! Is Trespasser the last DLC, or just last story DLC? I don't want to have to wait until DA4 to wear this awesome armor. How come the elven NPCs in skyhold get it, but the inquisitor cant?????
Discuss.

BUT THEM THUNDER THIGHS THO.
Because that would make too much sense lol.
That awesome Ancient Eleven armor? Nope.
That sweet Qunari war plate? Nada.
The awesome looking Royal guard armor we see on the guards watching over the Divine in the Trespasser dlc? Forget about it.
What is going on here.
You know it.
Modders can give us all in game models if I'm not mistake... if it is an armor listed in tables (never looked up, even using a lot of CE) perhaps even cheat engine could help (probably not, 95% chance it is gonna be with mods)
Tell me that was in confused inquisitor voice.
Naturally.

As far as I'm aware, modders can't swap meshes. I know you can swap schematics with CE, but not sure about crafted armor. I would imagine that with the amount of npcs that wear the sentinel gear it is an equipable piece of armor. If someone could find it, and we are able to swap armor that has already been crafted it may work.

Well, you are right that there is no mesh importing or swapping for now. But after they relese the last patch (I'm guessing we will get a final one to fix A LOT of Trespasser bugs) I'm guessing things will go faster/better regarding mods. But not soon, I'm expecting great mods somehwere between 6 months~1year after last patch.
As for cheat engine, yes, you can change models of crafted armor, I do it all the time xD
Just change base item, the stats remain the same =P
Edit: It has 99% chance of not being tintable and/or have some kind of tint bug but it is worth trying, if you do it, please post screens/tell how to xD
Hmmm, someone used a cheat engine and got this juicy batch of armors:

Here's the original Tumblr post:

I found those yesterday myself. I didn't want to post anything though because I didn't know if it was from this DLC, or perhaps remnants of a future one that may have been paid. (another spoils). We still don't know where it comes from legitimately either.

You can get them for specialization war table missions. Top to bottom, left to right, they are:
Necromancer, Rift Mage, Tempest, Reaver, Champion, and Knight Enchanter (presumably). They're already accessible, but unfortunately are very low level and have no schematics ![]()

Oh, man. I've been on Squee mode ever since I saw that KE armor. Thanks for explaining where they come from!
Disappointing that it's low level/no schematic, though... because I will for real be tempted to just play the game on casual if it means I can wear that the whole time.
I did both the knight enchanter and rift mage and received no schematics. Only one I got it from was the tempest operation. I got the sentinel armor through cheat engine though. You can get them for specialization war table missions. Top to bottom, left to right, they are:

Well, as seen below, there is obviously something not working right. Hopefully this will be cleared up. Well, luckily it would be for Knight Enchanter, so armour isn't that useful anyway!
Since it doesn't help when Barrier is up.

Weird. Hopefully people will figure this out soon, and if it's not working correctly, the next patch will fix it (and give schematics).

You may have read it somewhere else, but in case you haven't the sentinel armor comes from the operation you get after the temple of mythal called "research the well of sorrows".
Screw the setinels with their bare feet, i want the qunari full plate for my human warriors.

Lol the sentinels aren't barefoot. Other than that I'm with ya on the new Qunari armors.

That's so late in the game, though.... I wish there was a schematic. I mean, it makes the most sense, story wise, for that to be where you pick it up. And it's super cool that they added all this new stuff to the game, so I'm not complaining! Just kinda wish I could use the Golden Nug with it!
EDIT: Went and opened an old save and picked it up, so I can confirm that's the War Table mission it comes from. If anyone is interested in the stats, it's Mage only, need to be level 15 to wear it. 232 Armor, 11 Magic, 11% Melee Defense, 6% Stagger on Hit. And you can put a Sigil on it. So, significantly lesser than crafted armor by that point in the game. But it looks so cool!
