I agree, except for Ameridan. He was a pretty stand up guy.

Or simply adapt as they always have, given how they evolved from kingdom of the Dales to the myriad of clans we have in present day Thedas. I also don't think their culture of respecting magic and working together has to change simply because they can find out the truth about the past - given their own acceptance that they genuinely don't know the truth (i.e. the codex about Arlathan).

Rejecting Solas if anything means embracing their current culture. It means saying that who they are now is worth preserving, rather than chasing after the lost past. But to do that is to reject their faith.

I'd like to point out that Fen'Harel wasn't just considered the Trickster God in Dalish lore. In some circles he was regarded as the God of Rebellion. All it would take is carefully managed propaganda too leverage this and then, BOOM! You get some City Elves, whom are already disenfranchised with much of the world for looking down on them as 2nd class citizens, and then those Dalish clans who are either looking to restore their lands or are just mad at the rest of Thedas.

And I think that is exactly what is happening. If the ending slide is anything to go by, the Agents of Fen'Harel have been extremely busy recruiting elves to their cause... because elves are disappearing in droves from alienages everywhere.

given how the elves have been portrayed thus far in DA:I I wouldn't be surprised if he told each and every elf who signed up what he was doing and they still go for it.

The elves have proven to be far from intelligent in Inquisition

Spite is a powerful motivator. If you got nothing to live for, why not watch the world burn and laugh at it all?

Not really, considering that their current culture isn't identical to their past, whether you're talking about the Dales or Arlathan; you already have some, like the hunter who writes that they should live as nomads rather than tie themselves to a singular home, as an example that some Dalish even reject the notion of establishing their own homeland. It's not like Clan Lavellan rejected establishing a home in Wycome, and it didn't make them any less Dalish; Merrill did the same thing when she decided to live in Kirkwall, and she remained both culturally and religiously Dalish.

Their current culture is about survival in an enviornment that is often hostile to them; recovering their past was about trying to discover who they once were, because it was lost due to centuries of slavery at the hands of Tevinter. They don't have time to do much else but try to survive, save Clan Lavellan in Wycome (if successful).

I played with my main elf Inqusitor same universe as Dalish Warden. I got my clan killed and was glad my friends noticed that. With my other elf her clan lived. I wonder if they will show us visiting them in the end credits. And she also had romance with Solas.

I think the Qunari or Kossith were some type of elven experiment. At first I was thinking it was a Tevinter magical experiment to between elves and dragons. But after this I wouldn't be surprised if elven mage lords did those experiments.
