So title speaks for itself what kind of aliens would you like to see in ME:A? It may be a pointless topic now but I still think there could be some fun in discussing it.

 

I'd like to see some kind of parasitic alien that is actually quite beautiful or has some kind of charming affect on other species in order to use them for labor or breeding under the guise of a symbiotic relationship. Kind of like indoctrination it works slowly and subtly and by the time the other species realize whats going on its too late.

 

What kind of aliens would you like to see? Ranging from baddies to quest givers to animals or plants and everything in between.

One thing I do have to give the Mass Effect universe credit for is the fact that their aliens have genuinely looked alien. The two races intentionally designed as LIs, so keeping to the general humanoid design, they're still more than just 'rubber forehead aliens,' and the other races are (the picture of Tali I refuse to accept as what she looks like under that mask aside) genuinely not just humans with a few minor changes. So I'd like to see them push that some more - the idea of a four-armed alien is a good starting point, and that centaur-esque design is nifty too.

 

Give me aliens whose appearance are wildly divergent from the humanoid form, who are vastly different from human. I want to see these aliens be ALIEN.

Something with hair or fur. It's annoying that every single alien has the same basic head with no unique hairstyles or anything like that. I would even like a race that has spikes or something for their hair that can be shaped in different ways to give them some more individuality.

Mansari pls! Other than that I just want more diversity. I noticed that most of them look either humanoid or like some kind of reptile (Turians, Krogan, Drell, Salarians). I want them to go crazy and create something completely different and unique or at least take inspiration from animals that aren't reptiles.

I will say that while I always was a fan of that concept, I am glad they didn't use it for the Shadow Broker.

 

Still, would be a shame to let it go to waste.
