Hey y'all,

I'm finishing up my playthrough right now and interested if anyone else romanced Morrigan, then broke up w/ her for Leliana, but Morrigan had a child (not via the dark ritual)?

If so, are we aware of any effects/dialogue options this choice has in Inquisition?  People have mentioned that the non-OGB Kieran is far more dull than OGB-- and not just for the family reunion/Flemeth scene:  Leliana doesn't comment on a changed Morrigan, there is less dialogue with him, etc., which is disappointing, since I would want my Warden's son to still be a major character, even if he (Warden) didn't want to go through with the ritual.

Does Leliana have anything to say if you romanced both her and Morrigan in Inquisition (different than she does by just romancing her)?  Does she react to Morrigan having a child by the Warden, her lover?

Thanks for any replies-- and apologies if I'm delayed in responding, I'm a bit nervous about spoilers for Trespasser while on here this week (had some things spoiled for me already).

Cheers!

Since keep is a manually entered state and not something imported from a game, I am unsure if that is possible to record.  The game asks who was romanced and you get one choice.  Even though several options are available.  Once i started on Morrigan and broke up with her for Leliana.  And on another character i started with Leliana and ended up with Alistair.  But neither of these scenarios was available for Keep.  At least not when i was making up my world states.  I am unsure over the passage of time what's become available as they've fine tuned it.

I'd say, try entering it into keep and see if its even possible to achieve that world state (like it may let you pick "non OGB child" or it may not if you select Leliana as your romance).

It does, from what I can tell-- exactly as you described.  "Morrigan and the Warden conceived a child naturally," and then you can still select "romanced Leliana."  I'm hoping that if you can select that world state, there are changes in the game (DA:I) that reflect it as well.  And furthermore, I like the narrative of my Warden sorta falling out love with Morrigan, and falling for Leliana (or more like, he can't reconcile his love for Morrigan with her behavior and opinions on certain things, particularly at the Elven Alienage).

Cheers-- thanks again, sylvanaerie.

Awesome!  I'd be curious to see what (if anything) either say.  Leliana was very specific about my King Cousland "He married her but he loves me!"  The dialogue may be different as pertains to Morrigan though.  Political marriage is one thing, but a child changes everything.  And at the time Kieran is conceived, your PC had feelings for Morrigan.

You will have to come back and let me know how it turns out for you.  And what, if anything changes about Kieran (I would imagine he's less creepy, more normal seeming) than his supernatural counterpart.

And you've made me curious enough to try this on my own.  My newest Keep state has the "normal Kieran", romanced Leliana.  I had Loghain get gnawed on by the Archdemon so I expect some reference to be made to my Hero.

For some reason all my wardens have gone poof except for my King Cousland and my Surana, so I had to go with a default "Aedan" rogue.

I'm curious about it too, but i can't check it.

Do you mind sharing your experience? Is there any references?

I will when I reach Morrigan in Inquisition.  I am still trying to complete my canon Quizzie, but my game CTDs a lot when zoning, so it's been pretty hard keeping up the impetus to finish.
