Please let us play as Solas in the next installment of Dragon Age. I would love to play out his plan to revert the world back to the time before he created the veil. We could have the Inquisition come back as minor adversaries, provided they weren't disbanded. Cole could come back to try to help Solas work through his plan, perhaps try to dissuade him if more human or encourage him if more spirit. The Inquisitor could come back to try and talk him out of it, perhaps a Solasmancing Lavellan could use his love for her to try to change his mind. We could see him confront the elvhen 'gods', maybe play out some of his fade dreaming, discuss the pros and cons with spirits and demons, really watch him pain over his options. I think that would be a really interesting change of pace from all the saving the world we've been doing, to kind of explore the reverse. I would be elated if this happened.

Not appealing at all to me. I love Solas as a character and i hope we get to see more of him somewhere down the line, but I really don't want him to become a PC. It would completely strip all the mystery from the character and to one degree or another turn one of the more interesting characters in the series into a blank slate to allow for player choice.
Also issues with Solas specifically aside, one of my favourite things to do in a RPG is create my own character - really wouldn't want to lose that part from Dragon Age.
