So my knight character is still scharpening his/her blade waiting for some smexy full plate to arive.Sadly it seems there won't be any.This game should be called the age of leather with the majority of gear beeing coats with leather or leather without coats.All good blacksmiths suddenly decided to go on vacation?Well mage gear is almost as bad but heavy armor choices are slim.And no, the templar armor doesn't count.My character looks like a action figure in it,from the age of he-man.

I remember when knights in rpgs actually looked like knights and mage too.Not even a decent chainmail armor...Rogue characters are lucky this time around they get alot of good looking, fiting gear.
I hope the next game will have more and better looking armor in general.

The worst part is that there are some acceptable armours in the game, but our character can never wear them.

SO much this, the only closest heavy looking Armour i have found is what the qunari warriors wear in trespasser, sadly we cannot get it. I want proper heavy armour not crap the like descent which looks like kids made it in a garage.

Knights existed before full plate, you know. It's slightly odd to see it disappear in Thedas, particularly since it's not being replaced by the cuirass as in real history

You can get yourself pretty heavily armoured though

The above armour is ok...and would be great if the thighs were plated (greaves?) .

 

I want a male version of Cassandra's Divine armour or something like her bodyguards wear in the Winter Palace in Trespasser.

 

So greaves next games please!
