Having a blast playing through Trespasser with all these new toggles, abilities that used to be worthless are now being used. I love that they went back and did this, thanks Bioware! Props. ![]()
New ability toggles made the game so much more fun!

I'm ashamed to say I had no idea they had done this until after I finished the DLC...
(everyone was at max. level and respec'd prior).
- But yeah, already mulling the possibilities on my next playthrough. ![]()

I have not played Trespasser yet, but I'm intrigued by this. Anyone care to explain what the OP is getting at?

All abilities now have 2 toggles you can choose between using. For example "Frost Wall" allows you to choose between creating a longer wall of ice or trapping a single enemy in a ring of ice. So essentially it allows you to change your play style, do you want to focus on targeting single enemies or blocking off a group of them? They're all very different though, loving it!

LOL, I'm in a similar boat, I played for an hour or so yesterday then decided to watch GamerMD's video on Trespasser where she showed all this off, I had no idea about this or the new Trials options!

Hot damn! I missed this too!
Was there an official announcement/tweet/patch note about this that I missed?

Question: haven't got Trespasser yet, although looking likely - do these toggles transfer over to the main game? Or are they only for use in the DLC?
I know the Trials are something that can be used in the base game (although haven't experienced those yet, either).

Also, and I guess I'll find out myself soon enough, but if someone knows it would be appreciated...do they transfer to current playthroughs as well? Or put another way, do I have to start a brand new game (once the DLC is installed) in order to use the toggles?

Were these included in the patch or just the DLC? I'm not sure since I installed Trespasser after I patched. It would make more sense as a patch thing.

A few, like the Spirit Blade toggle, were included in the Patch. The majority though were included with the DLC.

Yeah. My templar can use Wrath of Heaven to heal himself. That's very useful when I active the "potion-recover-one-HP".

Whirlwind sucks enemies into your radius of death. Aura of Pain can move with you.
Wicked cool. This DLC is insanely good.

I know right! I was using the Whirlwind with Iron Bull and it actually sucks all types of enemies! I thought it was only the easy mobs. Loving it!!
