I definitely agree that the new toggle upgrades made the game a lot more fun. I am experimenting with new builds and I am finally getting some use out of the Winter Tree for the Mage. I made a pretty awesome build for a Freezing Rift Mage and I am having so much fun with it.
New ability toggles made the game so much more fun!

I discovered this in my second play through with all the dlcs. I thought the double icons was a bug until I clicked on them and discovered they toggle different abilities. Awesome.

I'd just like to point out that the tripple fire mines upgrade is pure, fiery death. Instant cast right at my feet made my knight enchanter rather... unbalanced. So much fun.

The ability to lay down three instant mines had me over the moon. I've been watching enemy mages do that for nearly a year, thinking to myself "dammit, *I* want to be able to do that!"

I sincerely hope this carries over to DA4.

Hopefully all these toggles, trials, and other new things were tested in trespasser for use in DA4.

Having a blast playing through Trespasser with all these new toggles, abilities that used to be worthless are now being used. I love that they went back and did this, thanks Bioware! Props.
Can we use the abilities from the beginning of the game or just the DLC?

You can use them from the beginning of the game only if you put points into the passive.

Yep, made it a lot more useful. I actually never used that skill but now I do. ![]()
