So there was an awful lot of Elvish spoken in Trespasser, not the least between Lavellan and Solas. What are the chances that a lexicon will drop from on high translating it?

I'm sure fans are busy at work trying, but given how many different ways Solas' conversation with the Nightmare can be interpreted it'll be far from clear.

I had subtitles on and they didn't offer translations the way they did for Solas' words to Wisdom.

There are a bunch of people on the Wiki who have been trying to put together an elven dictionary since Origins. Presumably they're still at it now, I haven't checked lately.

It's a little tricky, since sometimes the more recent elvish phrases contradict older tranlsations and some words end up having a ton of different meanings. You have to take into account that the language is probably a work in progress, getting fleshed out as the plot ends up needing more of it. There may never be any such thing as a definitive dictionary.

I'll see if I can track down a translation for you - I believe I saw and read a few.

Ah, here it is: https://www.reddit.c...official_elven/ - I hope this is what you are looking for, I found it a fascinating read :)

Thanks for the link. Probably shouldn't have looked though, I nearly started to tear up at work, which would have be difficult to explain.
