I noticed that when silent's sister walks toward a bolter, she kept staggering back with the machine gun firing.  I am not sure if this is an animation only thing or does it really slow down her appoach.   But with Lego, he doesn't flinch at all and just walk straight up as if nothing happened.   They are both dwarf right?   And they both have guard, and the bolts only did 1 damage each to both.   Is one of the skills under Lego negates the staggered back effect?

once a cobra bit a legionnaire and after 2 days of terrible pain finally........... the cobra died.

If chuck norris was a DAI character he would be the Lego :)

I believe walking fortress prevents stagger or knockdown at least that has been my recent experience.

My lego doesn't have walking fortress.   I don't think there was any active skill working at the time.   The bolts just seem to not affect the Lego (animation wise).  It is like they just bounce off his armor.

Oh yes.  Is that why?  I see!  Cool.  I thought the shield was just extra armor and requirement for shield related skills.   So it actually does shield you... heh.

Maybe that's what Turn the Bolt does?

The passive Bear mauls the wolves prevents staggering from the front, that could be it.

Hmmm I thought the description on that say something about preventing you from being flank by enemies.  I thought that just mean if they attack you from the side or behind they don't get the flanking damage bonus?

Now as for Turn the Bolt... maybe?  I don't remember if my Lego took that or not.

This is the in game description of Bear mails the wolves.

"Using techniques perfected by Orlesian chevaliers, you can't be flanked by enemies, and you're less likely to be staggered when hit from the front."

Ah I guess I should read the full description!  I wonder if this will help getting to the black robe floating guy that freezes you.  If I could get to you, you are so dead.. if I could get to you, you are so dead... damn it. (on hands and knees crawling)
