I recently started playing the multiplayer version of ME3 and then went on vacation for 4 months. So, now that I am back and have begun playing again I am a little perplexed about how exactly to level up Currently I am playing a Human Adept. How does one advance the character to it highest level? Where can I find a guide on leveling up?

In closing, I have had the Mass Effect Trilogy for many years, but had never tried the multiplayer version until a few months ago before I went back east. I love it and I love how everyone is quick to revive you when you are down.

On another note, I cannot get my headset, a Logitech G35, mike to work with the multiplayer version, but that is another topic. Thank you.

Simply by playing. Each game you play gives you experience that makes your character leveling up. The hardest the difficulty (from bronze to platinum), the higher the experience you get.

As for how to build your characters, there are probably guides on You Tube for many of them. You can also check the solos threads on this forum to see how soloers build their characters. A quick advice for the human adept is to max Singularity, Warp and Shockwave. The split between Alliance training and Fitness is up to you.

Yea, I was thinking that about making out my Adept skills. It seems I have 3 chances to change my stats. Thank you.

If you're talking about respec cards, then yes, you can carry 3. Alternatively, you can "promote" your character class and it resets all stats for all characters in that class, so you can lvl up again and respec them how you like, if you're made mistakes.

Otherwise, I don't have a lot to add to what Loufi said, games give exp, once you hit lvl 20, stay put or promote, your choice. If you want you can ask around, find someone willing to open their backpack in gold/plat and get some quick creds if you need it. Reality is though, slow and steady is the way of the RNG so be prepared to grind.

Also you can check here for a group to play with if you like.

Buying Recruit packs after Bronze matches will also level up your vanilla human characters.  Other packs do the same (with even more XP), but if I'm looking to level up a promoted class, it normally involves a lot of Recruit pack farming, for me.  This is especially useful if you have multiple classes you're trying to get level-up...since the class receiving the XP will be randomized by the lolRNGstore.  Kinda like buying baseball cards...kinda exactly like that.

I mention this in case you have other classes that you've leveled-up a satisfactory amount...and feel comfortable/confident deploying.  You can use those characters in your matches and hope the Recruit packs you buy with the loot boost your lower-level classes.

Good choice BTW...taking special care with your Human Adept mgmt.  +1

You may want to have a look at the Resource Library (Sticky on the first page). Here you'll find a huge amount of tips and guides, including guides on how to spec certain characters.

level 6 of warp and shockwave is far from mandatory IMO.
But taking the enhanced biotic explosion and debuff on warp, yes.

i would start with those basics, the levelling order and ending is up to U.

If u are on pc dont spec shockwave level four on radius as it bugs the power

Someone already pointed out that you get XP for playing games (and higher diff=more XP), and that you will get XP from character cards in the packs you buy, but it also should be noted that you get additional XP for certain game settings- in particular, either playing the Hazard maps, or Unknown map/enemy.

Who needs those passives on the human adept? Thought this is all about Biotic Explosions?

Might have something to do with reducing the re-charge speed and the fact that there still is a fair bit of gun play involved also on the HA.........

I'm actually an expert in leveling up. :D
Setting games to unknow/unknown will do a big deal.
For the levels 1-14, it helps to equip a powerful sniper rifle like Black Widow, Javelin, M-98 Widow or Vailant. Then you can easily play on gold with consumables in use.

Before I went on vacation nearly 4 months ago I thought there was a way to level up a character by whatever it is that I can't remember. At 68 you tend to forget things. I am currently playing a Human female Adept who is at level twenty. Playing the Bronze level doesn't seem to level her up anymore. I like her because I love using her powers more than shooting. I thought there was away to level her up by starting at level one again, or something like that?!? Can anyone make any sense out of what my feeble mind is thinking?

You will have the option to "Promote" your character, which resets all of the stats and lets you level up again from lvl 1.

There is no level for any character past 20 so if leveling is your thing, might as well start over.

Okay, now I remember. Only if "Promoting" enhances the character?!?

Promoting doesn't give you any benefit in multiplayer, it gives you additional troop strength in single player, somehow. It's been a while since I've seen the exact phrasing, but it benefits you at the end of the game in SP if you've promoted classes in MP.

The easiest way to get any character to its highest possible level is to unlock the Claymore and equip it.

What does DA:I have to do with promoting in Mass Effect 3?

If Lakook were still here, he would be the best source on how to level up quickly....that guy must be the all-time leader in Recruit packs purchased..I think his N7 was 70,000?...

I havent promoted in over a year..but I think..Veteran packs are the better chance at getting higher amounts of XP, faster than Recruit packs...FYI... If you take a Level 1 character into Gold..by the end of the match you will reach Level 11

^^^ If you find the right suckers squad that is.
