Its been a long time since I played a mage in inquisition. When I started my 2 handed warrior playthrough, I fell in love with the block & slash ability. It reminds me of counter attacking people in Shadow of Mordor and the Witcher games. I was like "Screw Knight Enchanter! I'm playing this game like its Witcher 3!"
Still, I'm been thinking, can sprit blade be able to block melee attacks? I know you can deflect projectiles but I always have trouble doing this. Spirit Blade is just my hack and slash ability for mages and mashing the ability just isn't that fun.
Any tips on actually deflecting projectiles with spirit blade would be helpful too.
