Has anyone succesfully declared for order when becoming the inquisitor? I really want that option for my Qunari but I'm not sure how to get it. I would think you would would have to not believe you are the herald and maybe not in the maker either?

Reject being the Herald. I believe the lock in point for faith/faithlessness is the conversation with Giselle just before Skyhold. If you tell her you don't believe, fanatical belief is the problem, and (maybe) that this is a waste of time you lock yourself in as a "faithless" Inquisitor. That gives you the option to declare for order.
