really, first time i've been so depressed in a game...

even mass effect 3 ending was awesome for me, but this? good job with the story and making me cry...

almost at the end of trespasser and iron bull betrayed me!!

iron ****** bull betrayed me because i sacrificed the chargers and kept him loyal to the qunari.

i must say, if you think your choices have no consequence, think again.

worst choice of my life. still can't believe i had to kill one of my best buddies.

well, i must say. well played bioware, well played.

So there's an option to kill Iron Bull? THAT'S WONDERFUL!

gtg, need to replay Trespasser on my Inquisitor who sacrificed the chargers.

it was a pretty oustanding DLC, i have high hopes for the next game whenever it shows up.

Yeah Iron Bull betrayed me too first time around, cute how he calls you boss through the whole DLC then at his final scene 'nothing personal, BAS' bas meaning 'thing/foreigner' just goes to show what he really thought of you.

Not really an option, he turns on you in the most smug way he possibly can.

Companion reactions post-fight are pretty cool. Dorian says some choice stuff, you could tell he was furious.

I feel for you. Now allow us to slaughter the drones that influenced the mind of a brilliant man that Bull was.

There is no place for friendship within the Qun.

Only duty.

Extermination may be... necessary.

I did not see that one coming. I was literally open-mouthed at that little revelation....then immediately went to tactical view before the fight started.  :o

...and the big s*** was my main tank in the group too.

Honestly, that did not happen to me. I saved the Chargers cuz....

I saw it on the Utoob. Damn. The Inquisitor almost breaks their neck turning around to look at Bull.

When she tried that with my PT, I was like, "Psssh, whatever, Beyatch. His name is not Hissarth, or whatever. His name is The Iron Mother Effin'--*shut your mouth*--Bull.

He looked at her and said, "No way. Ma'am."

Specially-made armor and weapons, perfect Reaver build with Vanguard skills to provide the necessary guard and defensive skill so he wouldn't be a glass cannon, and then he pulls that one on me. But I knew it was inevitable

I think it fit his personality perfectly. But what really stung and showed his devotion to the Qun was when

That definitely made the betrayal personal in spite of what he claimed because he was consciously severing what would've been an indelible bond to him. I would've liked to rip the necklace from him after killing him to make the act come full-circle.

That betrayal was glorious, definitely killing the Chargers in all my play throughs. Time for a war on the Qun :)

Killing bull was one of the main highlights for me in trespasser, Quizzy annihilated his arse as it should've been done long ago, filthy Cows deserve no mercy.

Loved how that turned out.

My only gripe (a minor one) is that it wasn't followed up with dialogue. I'd have preferred a few last words with The Iron Bull before he died.

Iron Bull saw what happened to everyone that attacked me, so he was asking for it.

He didn't say anything when he died in my playthrough. The last thing he said was, "Nothing personal, Bas." That was he entered the room however and before the fight.

Were you perhaps playing with the IB as an LI? I'm wondering if there might have been some LI exclusive content.

Yeah, pmuch. I mean, you showed him what friendship meant to you when you told him to sacrifice the Chargers.

What I mean is that I feel your pain. I agonize over that decision every time, and I doubt Trespasser will change that. Even knowing that betrayal is coming, I will always hesitate to ask him to turn his back on his upbringing and his values. But in the end, I suspect that I'll continue to save the Chargers because trust is important. The inquisitor has a covenant with the Iron Bull as a liege lord, and Bull's people are the Inquisition's people. If the Inquisition were directly threatened, I could definitely see sacrificing the Chargers to save the organization. Soldiers may well expect to give their lives to protect their cause, but they shouldn't have to give their lives to avoid inconveniencing a foreign power.

It just goes to show. A single Qunari is only as much a friend as the Qun allows them to be, which is not at all. I wonder. If Tallis was there, she'd do the same thing too.
