If you thought leaving all the ppl Bull basically cares about to die for the sake of Qunari support wouldnt reaffirm his faith to the Qun well sorry to say but you only deluded yourself

i need to stop being stupid...
the big guy keep telling me that those were rogue qunari.
WHY DIDN'T I PAID MORE ATTENTION? there is no rogue qunari. there's qunari AND tal vashot, and bull never called them tal vashot.
sigh, everything was so obvious, but my trust in bull got the better of me
I only have one playthrough were I didn't allow Bull to become a real boy, can't remember which one it is though so I had to youtube it as I'm impatient.
Sad but not surprising, my hatred for the Qun intensifies.

He says they're rogue qunari if he's Tal-Vashoth, too, but he doesn't sound sure of it. Something like "I don't know, boss, they may be rogue qunari. Hard to tell."

Saving the dreadnought isn't really encouraging him to stay loyal to the Qun. It can be simply seen as acting in the interests of the Inquisition. Or you can even make a moral case based on the likely crew size of the dreadnought, or the duty you have towards your allies.
What it is, however, is putting the (supposed) greater good over loyalty to your friends. So it's hard to criticise Bull for not valuing your friendship highly enough to betray his people and faith.
^exactly!
In a couple of my PT's I weighed the size of the crew of the dreadnought vs. the # of chargers.
"Needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few."
Don't get me wrong,
I really like Dalish but hated that voice ugh

No. I'd rather live and have full control on my character's fate ... and limbs.
Even real life sometimes gives no choice.
People like you need to learn to accept this.
By gaining the Anchor at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, the Inquisitor became marked forever. The only way to get rid of the Mark would be to kill them...
Even Solas' magic - which, as we know, is the strongest in Fen'Harel-related issues, because... well, Fen'Harel - could not remove it.
The Inquisitor had to lose a limb... or life. Just like real life, there was no good option. A limb is still preferable to life.

I knew Bull was lying the whole DLC, and I was just waiting for the chance to kill him. Glad I got the chance, wasn't glad that I had to 3 man the dragon though, especially since I put all my focus on those nobs trying to save the dragon Sera and Dorian kept dying because I wasn't focused on the combat.
I assume if he's not on the 4 man team he'll still attack you at that point as well? I'm undecided if I will save the Chargers or not on the next run.

Yup, he'll come out of a door and say you made the right choice to leave him behind, which cements it even further this was sanctioned.

I guess if you're loyal to the Qun but acting without sanction then you could be described as a rogue Qunari. I mean, you're probably due for some re-education but you're not Tal Vashoth.
Alternatively, the operation may in fact have been rogue but only in the sense that the Qunari leader chose to give her superiors deniability.

For once, a choice leads to consequence for a companion in DAI. Also Sten laughs at everyone that trusted Qunari Bull.

Yes, that's what I was trying to say. When you ask Varric about the Arishok fight, he says that the Arishok was acting without authorization and therefore "We shall never speak of [it] again." In other words, the leader of the qunari group may have been acting independently... or with the understanding that if it went belly-up, she shouldn't expect support from the Ariqun.

I saw it, there's not that much of a difference. I think Dorian has a better reaction than Quizzy if romance is initiated.
Also, congratulations to whichever Quizzy that was!
Arianne (my very first Elven lass) got married as well. While she secretly hoped her love would at least respect her believing in the Creators one day, well... the most recent discoveries made her think the Creators were just a buncha scumbags. And she only needed two years of well-meant lies to find out that she is the one telling herself lies...

Yeah I kinda agree that Iron Bull's betrayal was silly. He slayed dragons with us and all kinds of insane things. Did he honestly believe he could take down the Inquisitor?

Not the point. The Qun demanded, he obeyed. Simple as that, could, would, should does not factor into it.

You think that what he says isn't "Boss" but in fact "Bas" the whole time?
I think that was his last pun before dying.
Like if you dont sacrifice the chargers and get aproval he keeps calling you boss.
(Also thanks for the avatar compliment *blow kiss*)

I hadn't done Bull's personal quest so he was still a Ben-hassrath but the chargers were still alive so when the time came I wondered whether he would turn on me, and he did. Fighting the dragon was a pain too with just 3 people and bull was my only warrior so I was unable to destroy the cart and free the dragon, so had to kill that too.
All you have to do is use the Anchor explosion attack to destroy the cart.

Ah, I was too busy trying to not die to think of that, thanks, it'll come in handy for my next (tal vashoth bull )run.
