You will still be knocked down by Terror screams and be frozen by Despairs :(

Would've been a perfect solo on HB too if I wasn't in a permafreeze :/

hahaha -- PromotionLordSr -- too good.  Well, don't be too hard on the amulet.  Nothing is ever entirely what it seems.  BTW, still impressive.

There was a PromotionLordJr but forgot he changed it lol. And it is incredibly powerful amulet. Just not against freeze xD

Being frozen and Terror screams are magical attacks, aren't they? Probably why the amulet doesn't protect you from them.

Exactly...

In any case, being able to survive Shield enemies on a Silent Sister is enough to make this amulet worth it.

This is a major game changing accessory in the overall scheme of things. It basically alleviates quite a bit of the most annoying enemy abilities found in nm/hb which cause constant knockdown, and stun effects. While it may not alleviate panic and frozen effects, this makes hb a lot more manageable and less frustrating. RIP combat roll I never liked how much stamina you took up anyways.

Except when they occasionally still knock you down.

Just sounds like another good idea they couldn't implement properly. Magical attacks with physical effects should still count.

They'll just blame it on the mage they commissioned to enchant it, known to be quite literal you know. "hmm they said make it for Physical Effects only, OK so that is what i will do!"  B)

I think chest rewards went away with the limited time events or weekend challenges where I got my PI Ammy.

However, according to this post by Proto ... :

I do find it in a store bought chest from time to time

Lie!  I saw on your screenshot how much you got in the bank.  You are like the Scrooge you don't spend your gold!  You can't take it with you!

It would be nice if one could gift gold, potions and other items, wouldn't it?

Sadly, it would also be contentious if it was possible to do so for a gold fee. Commerce? Anyone?

edit: I only use gold to get more rock armor and jars of bees nowadays

I have about 400 k of gold I'd like to spend but don't want to spend 2 hours in the store to do so.

I could probably finish my poison challenge before you could finish spending your gold. :P
