What title says, I'm super hyped for this game especially since I'm huge ME fan but God I hate hair we had in this game, ugh!

So plz, super-duper plz plz let us have actual hair in this game and not what we had in previous ME games or what we had in DA:I, God no especially no what we had in DA:I, we don't need another 7 shaved/bald case again in here.

I'm not asking for long flowy hair that is gonna make some macho-kid happy, I just want real hair that is all and I would suggest BW to take look at EVE Online's hair, they have pretty amazing futuristic hairstyles that wouldn't cause clippings or problems to be made:

(Side Note: Also, before I forget to mention other little issue I hope we won't encounter in this game is plz I want normal eyebrows as well and not DA:I case, I think we all had cave-man eyebrows monstrosity for lifetime!)  :)

I was gonna support your thread until I saw this:

Snake Plisskin had long flowing hair. And I'll be damned if he isn't one of the baddest mother ******* in cinema history.

da fuq does "macho kids" have to do with long hair anyways?

I don't recall I said anything against long hair hon(I have long hair irl lol), I said I don't demand it as must in here!

As for "macho-kids" they are term for all players who like to b*tch about female characters that have short hair and not long hair, which is another reason why I said that I'm not asking for long flowy hair in here and that I'm more then happy with short hairstyles as long as they are actual hairstyles and not what we had in DA:I again.

It really depends on what sort of protagonist we are playing.

If he/she is military like Shepard, they shouldn't have long flowing hair. That isn't to say that there shouldn't be better options though, even if the protagonist is military.

That is what I'm saying as well  ^_^

Just an actual hairstyle that looks like something person would wear not "DAFUQ IS THAT!?" thing we had in DA:I. There are lot amazing and breathtaking short hairstyle that could be in this game. I gave EVE Online as suggestion because they have nice futuristic hairstyles that I don't see why would be problem for BW to add in this game. And I definitely don't want another unisex case when it comes to hairstyles, I want it separate for males and females because biggest problem with DA:I hairstyles was because they were unisex and that was reason why hairstyles in there were more for man then woman....I mean common sideburns for female hair? Seriously?

Just normal hair that looks like hair would be nice....and no more sideburns and 7 shaved/bald cases plz xD

We need Geralt's real time beard growth.

Personally I'd prefer having long hair options, though. Yes I know, it's not practical for military combat. A lot of things in Mass Effect haven't been, so I don't really see the problem there with one more thing.

Anything is possible as long as it's not wet plastic like ME1/2/3. Skyrim and The Witcher comes to mind.

Agreed, the hairstyles in the trilogy were pretty tragic for male Shep and very limited for fem Shep.

Something I would also like is more detailed face costumization like in the video you posted.

ME's CC has always been very limited, I hope this time we will get better CC. It's not only hair, but you don't have enough options even change eyes, nose and lips. If they used DAI's CC in terms of facial features it'd be happy though I'd like better hair than DAI had. Personally I like unisex hairstyles as long as there is enough hairstyles, because it's nice to have option to have short hairstyles for female character and long for male.

And if they adjust them to suit the gender too. So sideburns on the men is fine, not so much for the women. As for male pattern baldness, I'm not sure why that's so prominent for the male characters, but it shouldn't even appear in a female character creation screen.

Good news is that the characters in the Halo5 trailer show decent hair.

This means it can be done! ME:A better show us how goody-goody the FB3 hyped engine is regarding hair mops.

Yes. Having the same hairstyle is ok, if is really unisex (no reciding hairline, no sideburns) and if is at least biologically different from the male and female version. For example, the half shaved/half long hairstyle in DAi would have been great for both genders, but the shaved hairline was definitvely masculine, and made me cringe at the thought of using it on my female characters, even if it was the only fantasysh/original/with some personality hairstyles in the entire selection of hair in DAI.

But overall, those who model hair in BioWare should just spend at least s few minutes googling "short hairstyles". Is not that time consuming, and there tons of great, beautiful, modern feeling hairstyles to look. :) (and maybe look a little at some biology, just to see where are the differences from male to female hair)

There will definitely be better CC, thanks to frostbite engine. But yes to more options, like more hair and heck, scars. Scars. A lot of them.

Better from ME1-3 sure, but ME has always lacked behind DA in terms of CC so I'm keeping my expectations low.

Scars would be nice, sadly I didn't have option for them in DAI, but maybe in ME3 then. And freckles, that would be cool.

You served in the military. I'm sure you saw women with long flowing hair. I know I did when I was in the military. When they wear their uniform, they had their hair tied up tightly within regulation.

I don't see a problem with a female having long hair as long as its tied up. I understand a male having a high and tight haircut if he were in the military.

If the main character isn't in the military, than I have nothing against the character having whatever hairstyle they want

I'd like some good 'boyish' styles for female characters. Other than shaved. I dont like shaved. Inquisition did that by sharing the hairstyles between both genders so maybe there is hope for a 'cooler' looking short style for females in the new Mass Effect.

Yes, we definitely need better hair and eyebrows. I don't even want to think about the horrid selection we got in DAI. I'm not looking for long, flowy styles either but just something that doesn't look like a dead rodent. Also, skip all those awful and useless bald styles, as well. And for the love of God, please let the hair adjust to any facial changes, instead of staying static, acting like a helmet, which also happened in DAI.

Yes!

Probably wont happen though, if bioware has proven anything its a love for the 70'ies, plastic and hair hats. Just be more thoughtful when texturing and modelling please ,if you can see that you just slapped two pieces of hair together then thats a problem.
