He doesn't try to. Basically he says it'll be fun while it lasts and inspire more music even once it's done.

Also Dagna isn't mentioned if you romance her, so that's why it's easy to assume they got together.

Yeah, that surprised me as well, I always wondered why there were no developing relations among those the inqusitor didn't romance. Bull seems to flirt with Cassandra but they don't turn into an item, Blackwall idolizes Josephine but don't talk to her because of their stations, it's good at least someone had some fun.
But am I the only one who found more shocking that cole was tapping the inquisition bard? That shook me completely.
