As the architect of the Gallows' operation and most problems therein, no.

No way I will ever going to help Orsino after discovering he helped Quentin, he was a cancer as big as Meredith and those mages turning abominations just confirmed my views about the majority of mages.

And Meredith will try to kill your sister. Or leverage her as a hostage if you're not down for doing her job for her.

Treat the cause, not the symptom.

Take the lesser of two evils.

Just like one will kill Orsino anyway, only without acting in support of a toxic system.

Supporting blood mages and abominations is worse to me.

If we're talking about mages going abomination during the Annulment, it's like... well duh. You've just announced that you're going to kill them indiscriminately for a crime they didn't commit, what were you expecting? If I were in that situation, I'd empty both barrels and then go abomination myself. No reason to go quietly.

Varric taking viscount position didn't really conflict with my playthroughs. Hawke returning to rebuild Kirkwall does conflict somewhat though.
The whole Varric as viscount seems a lighthearted wouldn't that be funny moment, rather than something that feels particularly natural IMO. Equally the shoving Hawke into varric's slide seems a one size fits all get out of jail card for their odd decision to have him/her stuck in the middle of whatever is going on in Weisshaupt.

Mages survived the anullment (the ones from the Solas' personal quest were from Kirkwall), if they become abominations they were weak from the start and Meredith was right when she said there was Maleficar among the Kirkwall's Circle. I would never support them. To me she was the lesser evil.

But whatever, BW made both faction idiots.

What do you think about Varric taking over Kirkwall? Did that conflict with any of your characters?

I apologise for the wall of text, i needed to get this off my chest. Rant over.

That she's in Kirkwall helping Varric according to rumour doesn't mean it's a permanent gig.  Maybe she's there on behalf of Starkhaven which she's co-ruling.  Maybe it's all part of her scheme to unite all of the Free Marches...

There were survivors either due to Hawke's involvement or because they were able to escape. For those without that opportunity, why not just do as much damage as possible before the Templars come to put you down (it would be on Meredith's hands anyway)? There's no reprisal like spiteful reprisal.
