So I've mentioned I would've liked a death option for my Inqy.
And judging by BW's stories of Thane, Mordin, Legion, etc. It could've been magnificent. Not that it matters, but just for grins...(just a hypothetical, I'm not rallying for an ending change, trespasser is fine the way it is.)
Here's my thought,
Inqy dying with a few meaningful last words.
Next scene,
Your squad angrily marches into the council in place of Inqy.
Maybe LI verbally biotch slaps and guilt trips the council members.
Could've been quite moving...yes?

Perhaps challenging Solas' at the end, especially if you had a strained or confrontational relationship throughout the normal game. He could smite your ass for being an arrogant fool, which would also be ironic because he is as well!

I would neverever choose this option BUT: You are right, a lot of people ask for it.

 

I think there should be ALWAYS a "Dying with heroic words" and an "Happy-End with Butterflies" option, in every game.

Well this is true in a way.
But considering there have been many a time when squaddies were clear across the country (not on the team) when your Inqy is adventuring and they are still able dis/approve your comments/actions, seems to wave that away.

If bioware is planning for the inquisitor to have some sort of role in the next game then they wouldn't have given us a death option. 
Fingers crossed anyway.

Could you imagine Dorians outburst?! I'd actually pay to see that! He'd put on a show and a half!
Or how about viscount Varric? He might've renamed the harbor "Trevelyn Harbor" (or Lavellan, etc).
Could've been epic.
