1. Better hairstyles
2. The option to be more ruthless/evil/self-serving
3. The return of multiple playable races
4. Being able to side with the Dalish/Elves in an uprising.
5. Return of the Hero of Ferelden.
6. New Protagonist

DAIV should be dark, gritty, smelly with a dose of guts and oppression leaking from everywhere. Comeback of 'knife kill' option class flavoured. Ability to punch all of your companions, not only the male ones(in fact, let us kill those we dislike). Give us more power, enough with a good, shiny village idiot who follows the path of 'bending'. More race, class and sex oriented content. Make male elvhes normal; don't botch the models and refrain from making them look like 9-12y old boys. Stop with the agenda; leave perversions and deviations outside and don't invite them ever again.

I agree. Leave any sort of elf romances behind, no one liked Aerie anyways.

I agree, partially, if they are going to stick to little boy body for male elf then it would be better to eliminate elf romance from the game.

Your suggestions? It's a topic for wishes and rumors. Let's talk about the future of DA franchise...
1. Give us back our tactics, and give us full access to our abilities again.
2. Don't rush the story.
3. Better side content. No more MMO style fetch quest nonsense.
4. More cinematic conversations.
5. Choices and consequences.
6. Better dragon battles where they are all not pretty much exactly the same except for their breath weapon.
7. Sandal
8. More variety in armor styles.
9. Better hair styles.
Just to name a few. ![]()

2. Fewer side quests, but richer and more layered. A little fetch stuff is fine, but not too much. Edit: I enjoyed the way smaller quests were presented in Jaws of Hakkon - retrieving memories etc, talking to a trapped spirit - a bit different from the old codex entries.
3. Tactics menu returns, and no more 8 ability limit.
4. If specialisations like blood Mage are to return, then they should be meaningfully incorporated into the narrative. Otherwise I'm fine with them staying gone.
5. Elven body models - no more noodle arms please.
6. Better and more hairstyles or (preferably) a cross platform toolset to allow modders to make these things themselves
7. Amazing characters like Solas, Cass, Dorian, Cole and the others. I have no worries about this, I just didn't want to leave it out!

Better boss fights. One weakness throughout the entire game and across all DLC were the horribly designed boss fights.
Take the Deus Ex approach and find another way instead of grinding down a huge health sponge equipped with a bunch of cheap game mechanics for offense.

1)The Forgotten Ones reveal
2)The Formless One. We have to fight it.
3)The Black City. We must go there.
4)This is tough. Not many threads left to tie.

1. Hair... enough said
2. Ditch the coin based currency and bring back sovereigns, silvers etc. I feel like that's a lore thing
3. I want my DAO/DA2 tactics back
4. I like the tactical camera view. Keep that
5. Can we just finally figure out what Morrigan wanted the OGB for? Please?
6. No more MMO side quests. If you're going to have side quests, be like the Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption, Majora's Mask or Mass Effect 2's loyalty missions
7. The "chore table" must go, or be streamlined
8. When it comes to romance, quality over quantity. Make romance more organic. Make it something you have to work at. Cassandra's romance is a small step in the right direction. You actually had to go out of your way to woo her instead of just sweeping through the dialogue.
9. Improve boss fights and dragon fights
10. Cinematic conversation camera needs to return
11. Don't be afraid to really "go there" with the story if you have to. You have an M rating, embrace it.
12. Black Emporium should be in the game from day one.
13. How about some love for the HoF? No? Okay.

1. Stay true to BW lore, themes and game play. Don't be swayed by the W3 fanboys.
2. Better hair and skin textures that don't look like plastic. And for goodness sake LONG HAIR styles.
3. Lots of romance and romance arcs that are complex. Perhaps show the consequences of romance by having the antagonist threaten them directly. Have consequences for trying to romance too many people at once.
4. Keep the protagonist a hero. Avoid the dark and brooding anti-hero path. Its been done to death. That being said heroes are "human" and have flaws and insecurities. Don't be afraid to explore that.
5. Have a complex villain who just isn't the "unseen" bad guy. Make us really care about stopping him/her. Show how the antagonist affects everyday people. One of the most emotional parts of DAO was the build up to the final battle and we see the nameless solider saying goodbye to his distraught wife and child. Scare us! Remind us what we are fighting for!
6. Armour and mage robes that are more like what we had in DAO and DA2. Including the ones specifically designed for the female PC. If our female PC wants to wear a dress/skirt based mage robes / armour then let us.
7. Let us play different as Human, Elf, Dwarf or Qunari again. The wait for the extra time to design it is worth it!
8. Let us use ALL of our spells/abilities not just 8 ![]()
9. Keep making really cool passive spells/abilities.
10. More control over our body types.
11. Lots of hard to find hidden loot and surprises.

*Point buy system for attributes, and the choice to roll for them for those of us who prefer that sort of thing. (min 3, max 18)
*Swimming/sailing.
*Keep the combat mechanics (I liked both tactical view, and the more actiony way of playing. Would be cool to keep and expand on both)
*Bring back tactic slots like the first 2 games
*Bring back the Gold/Silver/Copper economic system.
(If it's possible)
*Somehow sync what items we crafted in Inquisition, and add them to the loot system.
*Sync what our Party Members stats/equipment is like in Inquisition, with how they appear if they make a cameo. Would be cool to see them wearing the armor I gave them last - or something similar.

The graphics need to look like the concept art, not like Skyrim.
I'd like the healer mage spec back.
And please let everyone age well. Some of the returning characters looked downright scary and I know it hadn't been that long in the timeline.

Teach our character to climb and to swim. Ditch the jumping puzzles, and completely scrap the gathering animation.
Improve the UI, getting real tired of having to scroll through everyone. Pull down menus could work.
Improve tac cam. Set orders and jump back into action cam and have or characters actually remember what I told them. Could be good to queue up commands again. Will help set up combos.
Multi race is a must they way they've set it up.
Better, witcher 3 style side quests, and if that means sacrificing one or 2 zones, so be it. Quality over quantity.
Since we're in Tevinter, bring back blood magic.

1. add more variety of consequences, even if it is just a dialogue.
2. if we cannot affect the ending of the game no matter what the choices we make at least make the choices themselves have consequences.
3. snip the companions to a small yet manageable number with bigger more compelling story arcs.
4. cut the four or seventy voices for our protagonist. one per gender is fine. but add more dialogue for npcs and companions.
5. add a little bit of risk with our companions. have them betray us if we loose their approval. have us risk their lives for us/ the cause. give them more to say on why they feel or think a certain way. context. nothing frustrated me more then being a proud elf and pissing sera off but she wouldn't tell me why she hates elves. like i have to hate elves for you to like me? really? and just because you were raised by humans? i really didn't get it.
6. less super sponges boss fights. give us area specific strategies we could take advantage of. and please less super speed or teleporting. ok on two or three enemies but all mages emissaries corififish every dragon jumping around the map in the same way every time? please no more.
7. more hair. please i don't give a noot or hish wash nish if it clips into the armor. that is forgivable. having more bald options then actual hair options is unforgivable.
8. just a couple more sense with our LI, like we get a kiss, then a bit of nookie, maybe a i love you before the big fight. but thats it. maybe just a scene where the whole group is having a round and are all making fun of us as we make out drunk under the table. something funny and light hearted.
just my opinions

From what others have already covered: hairstyle improvements; return to the original tactics and commands; abandon the MMO-style fetch quests; choices=consequences; better villain (maybe either one very sympathetic in his goals, or one so menacing that we feel the urgency to stop him)
Give us individual unique background stories like in DA:O. If it's taking place in Tevinter, let us see different cultures there, since we know the different cultures covered in Southern Thedas from Origins.
Return to sovereign, silver, bronze currency.
Make the city more larger with different sections to explore, like Denerim, and not small like Val Royeaux.
Have great companions (just stating it for the sake of stating it. The previous games had great companions).
Definitely have the Formless One as an optional boss so we can keep the pattern of the Forbidden Ones in each game
Only have one very difficult High Dragon battle.
Have a great hub area like Skyhold.

DAO was remarkable for the tightness of the story, it's suspense and the acting (including Tim Curry and the Flemeth character acted by well-known Kate Mulgrew). DA2 was unremarkable I can only remember being trapped in that dockside warehouse. DAI is much more ambitious, though finally I must say, the storyline wanders here and there and loses drive. The plot turns seems somehow unmotivated. I don't know what would be good for DA4, but a simplification of plot line might help. DAI is an excellent game, well deserving of its game of the year title. And Morrigan has turned out to be an entrancing, quite durable character that radiates a wisdom that the other characters are without. Perhaps a game centered around her and her Mother might be good. Flemeth turned out to be a god in this game, there's a lot of room for exploration. A melding of the locations in DAO and DAI might be good, I would like to see Denerim again. The grandeur of Orlais was a bit of a pleasant surprise. It adds enough cohesion that the relationships of the various nations need to be re-thought. Somehow their political relations are unspecific, unfounded and cloudy. I assume somewhere this game is patterned on `14th cent. England which included a large part of France. The castles certainly seem from that period. I was even joking that including UFOs and space aliens might be a frightening confrontation for this game.
Also, if you're going to have sexual encounters/relationships you might consider letting it get messy and interfere with the role of the protagonist in the game. For example, the relationship between the Herald and whomever would become so tumultuous that it would interfere in the daily functioning of the empire and threaten to topple his/her place in the game. Also, why not have a love triangle or two. A love battle between the Inquistioner, Cassandra and Dorian, for example might add meat to the bones of the story.
Also a wider variety of demons would help. I was thinking of calculator carrying undead which outsmart the warriors called the 'Dorkspawn'.
Also, another possible way to enlarge the plot pool might be to let your players design scenes. If they could download the game construction program or access it online. They could use existing playing areas to create new scenes with new dialogs and new quests. If any of the amateur designs are good enough to use by Bioware, it would be an easy matter to pay them and acquire the copyright.
Also, since gathering/harvesting is about 3/4 of the game, even advanced characters have to do it, can you make it one-click? Maybe default would be 'take all', also maybe a perk might be area harvesting, where all loot within 5 meters is gathered with one click, or maybe even group harvesting for where there is a group of newly killed corpses and with the click of a button each party member picks up the nearest loot.

The most important thing you've got to fix in next part of Franchise is to let people chose about RMB.
I don't know, maybe someone is truly enjoy to press right mouse button constantly to move, but
I'm obviously not.
And please, don't even dare to make it like Witcher, don't listen those who want you to make it.
You've made absolutely uniqe game, DA: Inquisition is a masterpiece.

Some. I have to say, they were a lot worse back in 2011-12 when it was DA2 versus TW2. At least TW3 is worthy of the praise it's received.
It is really good. Also, practically incomparable to any of the DA games. They're both "RPGs," as though that weren't the most useless genre descriptor ever. Tonally, thematically - I still don't see what people liked in DAO that was absent in DAI yet present in TW3.
