Hey, it's kinda fun to do this solo with the new mage. You just mash the no cooldown frost step/teleport and everything explodes.

Some people say this is a solo challenge but it's actually going to be fun to do with friends... Solo challenges are ones that require you to make sure you get all the enemy kills. 

 

This is actually fun to do with people, regardless of if they die or not.

I tried, but gave up after 6 or 7 PUG matches without getting a single point. Too many shitty people online, so brtter off running it solo.

I think this would be been very tense if it was keep X captains alive. And only melee captains spawn.

Most likely boned, unless there is a complete meltdown of this weekend's or next weekend's challenge due to server issues and they have to make concessions again like the last time.

The previous time we had this mission, it was counting when a player is down for one of the three times before fading, and not just being knocked on your can, by cc attacks.  I assume it's the same this time.

 

I think that's right.  They used the same terminology before and I thought they meant knocked on your can -- there was one match where I thought I'd squirreled it in Zone 5 but my challenge counter still advanced since I didn't get KO'd and need a revive.

I prefer 5 solos with Izzy. On routine she's faster since you can one-shot bolt everything.

The host actually activates his mic, in order to tell me to switch from the Hunter "to something durable". I answer very politely and reassuringly, that I am quite confident I can take well care of myself on Perilous; and that regardless of character selection, I'm being extra careful and not too daring just to be sure for the challenge at hand anyways.

Well, that was majorly douchey of them but I guess they wanted to be extra careful. xD I finished the challenge with friends and I actually died one game. On the hunter.   It was very stupid, shadow backstabbed me before I could drink a potion or get any control of my character. Fatality.

Well, just got home to see the PCs are... just over 5,200. Out of 50,000. Yikes.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised as it is the first weekend Trespasser's out... but, yeah. This one's gonna be tough.

Out of curiosity, which platform are you on? Majorly douchey is an accurate summary of this, especially after assuring them you know what you're doing. I joined a perilous pug as a level 1 keeper today, and wasn't kicked even after I got Emissary Alpha'd to death (played a few more games with those guys).

 

I finished the challenge with friends and I actually died one game. On the hunter.   It was very stupid, shadow backstabbed me before I could drink a potion or get any control of my character. Fatality.

 

It's much, much easier to be perforated by a shadow as a ranged class. The attack animations are so debilitating.

Well one good thing came out of this challenge, I got my first character portrait, for completing 100 extractions as the Hunter!

Did the WE challenge together with Rascoth & SporkFu.

They were already in game with two Ele's so I brought a third.

 

Ele-quisition was so much fun
