he had the balls to say that's the reason they banned the grey wardens and he even seem proud in badmouthing them.

For an Ambassador he sure has some terrible diplomatic skills, Also his aggression is foolish considering how powerful the Inquisition is and Orlais is compared to his still weakened backwater.

The thing is, it's not Teagan. You can find a letter from Alistair/ANora that shows that they are the ones who are telling Teagan what to do, Teagan is just a the messenger who is probably grumpy because he is aging badly and Redcliffe always attracts ****. It's Alistair/Anora that have a stick up their ass. He also makes very good points that sadly many gamers will ignore since the average gamer mindset is rude to my character=THAT PERSON IS A DICK

Well, sure, but I literally did not recognize him until his identity was pointed out to me. Like, keep his donut-beard, at least.
I liked that when I Inky thanked him for at least being honest, he said something to the effect that she deserved that much, then compared that to how the Orlesians would treat her.

When I first found out that was Teagan all I could think was "I flirted with that in DA:O?" 
But the inquisition did set up shop inside Ferelden borders. So his concerns r justified. Swooping is Bad 
Bann Teagan was one of the missteps of otherwise good DLC.
Besides looking absolutely nothing like his character from DA:O, to the point where there wasn't even a slight resemblance, he also seems to have gone through a dramatic personality shift.
Having him oppose the Inquisition I approve of, but he should have been a bit more diplomatic and 'in character.'
I only care because it's Teagan. If some no name NPC had been the "Typical Ferelden *******" my reaction would have been apathy to them.
Whatever points "Typical Ferelden *******" would have made don't particularly matter, because in the end they would get their wish per Bioware mandate.
The Inquisitor and the Inquisition lose their power regardless of "Typical Ferelden *******" because they aren't the focus of the plot anymore.
So all this really accomplished was getting me dislike a character I've liked since Origins.
Ok I really don't get this "Teagan is a douche" sentiment floating around. This man lived through the Orlesian occupation, his father died at the battle of Westhill. Now this nascent military-espionage organization, founded by members of the Orlesian Chantry, full of Orlesian soldiers, has a fortified presence on the Fereldan-Orlais border and in Crestwood. Not only that, the Orlesians want to control this organization. Get real that **** is scary to any Fereldan with a brain. Did people really think that Teagan (or any Fereldan representative for that matter) would not be aggressively advocating for the disbanding of our Inquisition?
As for his comment about the Wardens. The Wardens didn't save Fereldan Alistair and the HoF did. They were greenhorns, all they know about the order was "kill darkspawn, end blights, whatever it takes." They aren't representatives of the order as a whole and treating them as such is dishonest. So when Teagan refers to the exiling of the Wardens for starting a coup he's not being an ungrateful dick, he's making a valid analogy between two large foreign organizations.

It's a very serious situation. And it only gets worse when the Inquisitor just gets up and leaves during a council regarding the national security of Ferelden.

Ironic considering the Inquisition held control of Caer Bronach for 2-3 years.
I was very disappointed at the complete douchebag attitude he had. I get why Ferelden was concerned. Specially in one of my playthroughs where Gaspar and Briala ruled and he has it bad for Ferelden but damn if I didn't spend a whole game cleaning up your backyard Teagan!
Also where is this letter from the Ferelden ruler telling him what to say at the council.

It's a negotiation, he has his orders and he's following a strategy. He's defending Ferelden's stance in the matter not his own.

The funny thing is the angry/stern responses are pretty great at toning his sass down though he still a jerk throughout.
