[Sunflower Samurai]

Well, my suicide mission was successful, but two of my members died.

Mordin - KIA
I was sooooooo devastated. He was my favorite character of ME2; him and his singing.

Tali -KIA
I hope the fanboys are screaming now because so did I.

Everyone else managed to pull through.

First time I ran through Mordin died, I think it was because I didn't use all of his skill points though. I reloaded an earlier save spent all his points, ran through the end again with mostly the same choices and noone died.



Tech: Legion

Group Leaders: Miranda

Biotic: Jack the first time and the Asari the second

Sent Garrus back to take the hostages

Yeah I put Tali has the Tech and then she got face-shotted while closing the door. I didn't have anyone escort the hostages back.

I made it through without any casualties. Just did all the loyalty missions, bought the 3 members what they wanted (kitchen stuff, bottle of brandy, and something for the engine) was a full Paragon



I think the most important thing to do is give people the right roles and they give you some hints



*SPOILERS* (<-- Just incase)

Use the most powerful of each



Vent- Tali

Group Leader- Miranda

Biotic- The Asari



The tricky part is who goes back with the crew. I was stuck between Garrus and Mordin. I sent Mordin because he's a doctor and the crew wasn't 100% took my chance and he survived.



Another thing to realize is even if you do the loyalty mission it doesn't mean that person is fully with you. For example for Thanes mission if his son kills the Turian the mission will end and the mission overview will say something like "Thane is loyal but is still distracted knowing his son is following his footsteps" (I know it doesn't exactly say that but it's something along the lines of that)



I just started again as a Renegade (though I wont play through so fast) I'm excited to see how the final mission turns out

First time through, all teammembers survived.

Use Legion (Fekking cool teammate btw ) as infiltrator

Garrus as team leader both times.

Thane as survivor escort.

Samara as biotic suppressor.

No casualities

first casualty: Subject Zero, while we were heading towards the collector base.



second casualty: Tali. received a headshot when she was closing the doors after the vent part.



third: Legion. after the Biotic suppressor part. got taken out by the swarm

10 second later: Grunt, he took a round to the gut and died.



Ohw yeah, and everyone from the standard crew, like Dr. Chakwas died too...



Luckily, Miranda lived

I only had Miranda die for me, I think it must have been because I picked Jack's side in their little fight. I did everyone's mission but Jacob's, but he lived somehow.

everyone lived on my part, mainly cuz i gave a bit of a rats ass about a few people. next run through once i Redo ME1 full Paragon 100% side quests I'll redo it again

Idk if i can romance anyone else except Tali, after all the cutscenes with her she's just to damn cute none of the other girls caught any of my enterest, except Samara since she's a bad ass Blue paladin.

Poor Tali.

I *heart* her so and would have been devasted if she had been killed on my run. I made sure she stayed with me so I could look after her personally...



I got everyone out alive:

Legion for vent
Miranda team B leader
Jakob back with the crew
Garrus team B leader at the second stage
Samara as Biotic

No worries

I was nearly 100% Renegade...not quite though.

Well, I gave all my characters their respective upgrades (Omni Tool for Mordin, shotgun for Grunt, biotic **** for Jack... etc... etc...) so they all had good equipment. I also gained the absolute loyalty of every member, not just a partial loyalty like if you let Mordin kill his student or if Thane's son succeeds. AND I upgrade the ship with every single possible upgrade (minus the medbay, cool scars are cool, even though I was a Paragon. Scars of the past mistakes, I say!)

So, I sent Legion through since I know the vent's environment couldn't harm a non organic being, and he is a computer.... he can hack 100x faster than any organic sapient life form in ME.
I had Garrus be the secondary squad leader in both stages, since he's just a bad ass leader like Sheperd (let's face it, Garrus is the Turian equivalent of Sheperd... well it depends on how you play Sheperd but still) and had the most experience out of the team.
For the biotic part, I used Jack. If you use Miranda, someone dies because she is too weak.
Jacob accompanied the crew back.
Miranda and Garrus accompanied me to fight the reaper.
And we all got back just in time for tea and crumpets!

So:
Legion - Tech
Garrus - A and B phase 2nd squad leader
Jack - Biotic ****
Jacob - escort
Miranda and Ramirez.... err.... Garrus - TAKE DOWN THE BIG ROBOT!

Oh, and I left Cerberus.

I didnt do it on purpose, i wanted her to live but i must have done something wrong, ill save her in the next playthrough

..Sent Thane back with Chakwas.. In retrospect I dunno why :I

Fought the Contra III Robo-Corpse with Miranda and Garrus.

Destroyed the station.. and Miranda died shortly after telling TIM she resigned and the platform collapsed...

Was either the points thing, or much more likely... When her and Jack got into a fight, I told Miranda to cool off. Did as many Paragon options as I could find, but still couldn't tell her to "be the better woman." - guess it wanted a full bar. I was half a bar away.. 

Couldn't find anymore missions and just completed the game.

That's the thing, it's supposed to simulate that if you just get fed up and rush into it without prepping yourself and your team, they will die. It's supposedd to entice you to do mroe, and it worked for me. Wasn't bored one bit in the entire game, not even when I was mining.

Lost Grunt, Thane and Jack.... i was ticked when i lost Thane and Grunt... they were my favorite characters... except for Tali of course

Legoin keeps on taking it to the face every time I send him through the vents.

I bought the shield upgrade for him and the sniper rifle upgrade. Are there any other upgrades that I should be aware about or anything that can be done to save him?

I didn't buy like any prototypes at all, and my entire squad lives. Here's my advice, stop sending him through the vents. Send Tali, she's the best tech expert you have.

no kidding right, but im going to play again (obviously) and do the side missions and get like full completion but honestly i would rather have a few party members die, its a battle to save the universe for gods sake and it makes it more epic IMO if there are casualties that actually matter to you

Legion worked fine for me - it seems that in this case he is being affected by another choice for the end mission...a lack of loyalty from someone, working too slow to open the valves or choosing the wrong team mate for the other fire team etc...
