I just wanted to know if anyone's rogue and warrior builds have changed since these toggle skills have been introduced. With the trials walk softly and even ground 'ON' in nightmare, it feels like a new game, at least to myself which is quite refreshing. If some would share their new modified builds in whichever category that they are using in nightmare with trial on, I would be very thankful.

It's a bit early, but I agree, should be interesting to see how collective wisdom will change with Trials. As a guess, I'd expect either a bit more attention paid to defense (guard/barrier) or, exploitation of new upgrades to supercharge damage. Best defense is enemies that die before they can even get one shot off, right?

Ninjas   run with Rub Dirt On It.

That's right! Totally agree. I am curious if with the new toggle skills one could make a potentially viable high dps or at least something of worth champion build. I know I have seen the to the death champion skills sometimes smash dragons to kindle but it's those trash mobs that are a nuisance. And now with the trials some of those mobs could be potentially deadly and blindside you if one isn't careful.

I always wanted this because the combat tends to get boring later on. I have 2 rogues lvl20ish and the one still at lvl4.

Difficulty: Nightmare, Friendly-fire

All trials enable, except Rub some dirt on.

The change doesn't impact to my build and playstyle much. Perhaps, my lvl20ish is Artificer? All I know it grants me quite a huge boon. My Dual-Wield Artificer becomes even more fascinating. Well, my playstyle is to smash every button, spend every cooldown to maximize the advantage in battlefield. New upgrades; poisoned weapon is now a life saver, it life leeches (if you combine it with spinning blades), caltrops has reasonable crowd control though it may not help much due to small radius, Flank Attack, Spike Trap cause bleeding now. A promoted enemy is very strong even the local faunas.

Then I went back to my lvl4 rogue. Gosh. the random traits on promoted enemy. sometime you will need specific build to deal with them. A warrior class enemy who immunes to frozen, they have ability break guard. He fell Cassandra in 2sec. Sometime, you'll find mages have physical immunity and keep generate his barrier to self and his fellows. With 7k HP on lvl4. It is best to avoid or requires some specific path to make the job easier (i.e. Dispel). As of now, I doubt my lvl4 inquisitor would make it through "In hushed whispers", I am doomed without the healing potion supplies.

I totally agree with you. It is refreshing. At least we have something to work with.

I am on a new playthrough on nm with all trials enabled and i found the new grapling chains upgrade with the new payback strike upgrade work very well together. The new poison blade upgrade is probably the best skill if you cant heal with potions as well as the new stealth upgrade with the old flanking strike upgrade. For my mage the combination of manasurge plus the old barrier upgrade is basically all i need as its kind of op. Keep in mind this is very earlygame (currently level 6).
