Do darkspawn emissaries risk possession? Or, maybe since genlocks are dwarven darkspawn, maybe their "magic" comes from the Blight.

Yes, the magic of emissaries comes from the Blight itself. If an emissary has ever been possessed, there is no record of it.

They are pretty mindless, so I doubt it. Could you really tell if they are possessed anyway? They are already trying to kill everything non-darspawn...

Darkspawn are also soulless, which I assume means they have no presence in the Fade, and thus not appealing to daemons.

Demons don't understand the taint so it would be difficult for them to possess a tainted creature. Darkspawn are soulless, so they don't attract demons. A demon possessed Sophia's body, but she had a taint resistance, which means she had some "understanding" of the taint. The closest thing to a possessed darkspawn is the blighted werewolf, which is a wolf possessed by a rage demon and then tainted.
