So just bought a game, and decided to be either Champ or Templar. Planning to play the game solo or duo as I don't really like having too much allies. Are there any Champ or Templar solo builds around, and would you recommend Templar or Champ for soloing? Thanks guys!

I wouldn't recommend solo for a first playthrough, particularly on Nightmare, but if you insist.

You can do either one.  At low levels, up through about level 6, there isn't any difference between the two.

However, beyond level 6, Champion starts pulling ahead in terms of survivability, but Templar has advantages versus demons/rifts, and since you are forced to do a certain number of those in the main quest, probably the best choice for mid-game on.

If you duo, take a Mage. There will be some master locked doors you can't get into without a rogue, but every other locked door you can bash or magic open. I'd recommend Solas/Rift Mage -- arguably the easiest mage specialization to play on AI, but really any of them would be a plus.

Templar is more versatile. Champion is a super tank. Both are better with groups since they're built to either soak up hits for people or buff. Reaver would be better for solo imo.
