I would like to thank you for making Solas romance because it's so emotional and tragic in a good way. It's the kind of love story I really wanted to experience. One thing that I really like is that there is hope for Solas and Lavellan to be together some day. It's breaking my heart that they can't yet be together but my heart is broken in a good way :) I also like it that Solas is so complex character and even though he is going to destroy this world he also has reasons for it and he isn't going to do it because he is evil. I'm also interested in finding out why thinks that he needs to destroy this world and why he thinks that there isn't another way.

I was very afraid that his romance will end badly and my Lavellans can't do anything about it. That's why I also want to thank for giving my Lavellans hope for the better future.

I really hope that what ever happens to Solas,  romanced Lavellan can be with him in the end. Either disapper with him or die with him. But it's important to me that my Lavellans can choose to be with him when his story comes to an end.

Let my Lavellans love him because he needs love!

Sure. I dislike enforced tragedy in a crpg, and I think there are ways of making the romance remain 'bittersweet' without necessarily ending in Solas leaving Lavellan (either through departure or death) for a third time. There should absolutely be a Solas dies option, but make it a result of player choice (as is the case with some other companions) rather than an inevitability.

I'll echo your compliment though, the character and romance have been very well done, very meaningful to the story, doesn't feel tacked on in the least (although it was one of the 'bonus' romances, it seems pretty integral). Patrick Weekes has done a terrific job with Solas, and it'll be interesting to see where he takes the character next, whether people love him or hate him!
