Lol you were making her boring is more like it.

An that's why I stated for enemies to have more weaknesses and more ways to defeat them rather than oh wow I'm gonna just swap out ma weapon that's so realistic. When fighting a powerful enemy I don't think you have time for that.

I believe it would be far more immersed and exciting to have to find their other weakness other than just the most obvious way of the elemental weakness

Naw, it certainly wasn't me making her boring, because I didn't get any input on who she was. And choices I could make for her, later got overwritten by Bioware (eg Blood magic).

Having more weakness/tactics in the combat system would also fix my issue, so I'm fine with that, though I don't think being able to switch between 2 weapons in a fight is any more unrealistic than being able to carry 100 staffs in my backpack.

The first thing about save I don't know what your talking about with the servers and all lol. As for starting the game more close to where out real journey of the PC begins I agree.

I would have loved to actually made the voyage to the conclave from my clan or from the circle so I could at least get a better understanding of my back story.

Sorry, I was still grumpy and might not have been as clear as I could have been. Save slots are extremely limited so the usual RPG advice of 'save frequently and keep loads of saves in case you stuff something up and need to go back' doesn't work. I think we can have 30 or so, more for PCs, but these aren't going to be big files and storage is our problem. Similarly Dragon Age Keep can hold ten world states but as I understand it I can only keep one on the console, so when I start a new game from a different world state I need to be able to connect to the server. Right now it appears to be unavailable which is why I'm being grumpy in forums instead of smashing wraiths in the face with an Inquisitor based on a different Origins game.

Yeah, journeying to the Conclave is exactly what I was thinking but I suppose it would have ruined the reveal and getting your memories back in the Fade which I imagine is why we didn't get it. Now I think about it the reveal only works once and will be pretty irrelevant on subsequent playthroughs but I guess that's why we always start from the same place.

Thought of something else I'd like to see in DA4. The option of additional user created content. There was some good stuff for DA:O that fans had created. It'd be nice if fans could create and share more content again, though I can see the obvious difficulty being with what dialogue is available for fully voiced characters.

Better combat mechanics. Especially for mages, they felt way too pew-pew.

A better tactical map

More than 8 active abilities

Jaws of Hakkon-quality zone storylines for each area in addition to the main story.

Talent trees more like DA2

If we can get a base that can be decorated, more variety. And more stuff to do there.

Better banter triggers.

Edit: And how could I possibly forget BRING BACK THE TACTICS MENU!!!

Better mechanics for sure. I believe they got the warrior nice but I agree with the mage. If you watch the Alpha gameplay the auto attacks came from their hands and weren't as fast and allowed them to moved which seemed so much better.

Definitely better tactic map cam wise I could at least tell them to move here then do this ability.

We've always has a limited number of active abilities but I think like DA2 it needs the wheel back so we can also cast the ones we weren't able to map

I could go for more zone story lines sure

I did enjoy the da2 trees but I think they just had more spells and were horizontal. IDK

Definitely more customization like we were hyped up for with keeps but didn't really get at all.

Yea banter for sure and just more banter in general.

AND DEFINITELY THE TACTICS MENU OF DA2 WAS AMAZING.

It would be nice to have a decent heterosexual LI.

OMG please not this they can't freakin make your perfect women. It's called life I doubt you'd get every time of women as a companion and not all are gon a want you.

- Big sexy Qunari women.

- Maniacally and dark Magister women

- A certain funny and endearing dwarf scout

- Oh, and Maevaris. Wonder if Bioware has the balls to make her romancable. Good God, the forum will explode if that happens

Basically if you don't pick the choice your potential LI prefers in CotJ or IHW you can easily miss a flirt option and then you are locked out.

Wouldn't u want more options then I mean your not always gonna make them happy if you roleplay but you'd definitely not wanna be locked out. If I get what u mean lol.

*Friendship/Rivalry.

It wasn't realistic (who cares? it's a video game), but I really enjoyed re-playing DA2 because of it. I loved that I was able to get new companion content during my second playthrough. And yay! Different romance stuff! I'm always romancing only one character each game, so I liked that.

During my second, third and fourth DA:I run everything was the same like in my first. Yes, I can ****** of my companions, but by doing that I'll get less content.

I just want to discover completely new things about my companions during multiple runs. It's not necessary to include friendship/rivalry system. It can be something else. Anything that will encourage me to play DA4 again and again. Replaying DA:I and seeing the same cutscenes and conversations every time is a bit tiring.

What the hell would u think would cause all of your companions to be dead

In a DAO playthrough all comapnions can be killed except Morrigan who leaves just before the battle at Denerim. I saw a video of someone doing just that with only dog as the remaining companion at the end. That's what the hell could happen.

We usually have 8 and you can only take 3 wtf.

What are you talking about with this sentence?

I agree with the ruthless play through. I wouldn't want ruthless ways to haunt the story but add on to it and take it in another path that we wouldn't see with other play through's

I like ruthless playthroughs. The more ruthless, the better

Well I think they could solve this by moving the affection trigger from Flirt options to the Romance trigger. So you could still flirt with low affection, but you can't start the romance until you get more affection.

- Better haircuts

- More companions dialogues / romance dialogues

- More possibilitys in something like a "new home". Not a camp again like in DA:O please

- Main-quest should be better distributed. At the beginning I had A LOT Main-Quest and Companion Quest and Dialogues and 40 % of the last part of DAI it was ..... there was nothing. Just area-running. :(

- More emotional moments like the part: Haven destroyed - After Haven destroyed - Skyhold finding

- More choices at the end

- One choice at the end to have a "Happy end with Butterflies" (and one to "Die like a hero / villain")

.

Really why?

It had much more character development than the Approval/Disapproval system. I loved how Isabela, Anders and Merrill could turn out in the end if you pursued the rivalry path (especially if romanced) even if I personally never pursue a rivalry with Anders or Merrill with my canon Hawke.

Well of course u did you could pick if she was hilarious, a ******, or more mild and polite

And we obviously have enchanted sacks duh. Just saying changing your gear mid combat seems to defeat the purpose of having enemies have different weaknesses and you face them often in that environment. So you just learn from the fight to be better prepared.

My ideal Dragon Age game would have:

- the return of the fully-customisable if>then tactics system. The lack of this is my biggest problem with DAI :( .

- race selection! This is very important to me, and I'd hate to be locked into playing a human again.

- a balance between open world exploration and interesting side quests. (If they could somehow pull off the exploration of DAI with the interesting multi-part side quests of DA2 ...)

- better integration of exploration areas into the main plot. I know that they didn't want to make it compulsory to go to all of them, but in some cases it's hard to find a reason to visit at all when the Inquisitor should be getting on with important business.

- a better implementation of the tactical view, with the ability to zoom out properly. I hardly use it in DAI because the controls are so awkward.

- a better UI on PC. (And on consoles, I guess, but the PC interface is the one I have to use.)

- more ruthless, mean and downright evil options for the protagonist. I can see why the Inquisitor was restricted by their office (Cassandra, Josie and Cullen wouldn't put up with too much random murderknifing) but I'd like to see a return to these for DA4.

- the ability to be as hilariously inappropriate as Purple!Hawke. ("At least things can't get worse! Today, anyway. I mean, it's pretty late ...")

- MOAR DWARF. Dwarf lore, dwarf companions, dwarf areas, Titans. Dwarf dwarf dwarf.

- speaking of which, a romanceable dwarf. No, make that two romanceable dwarves, one of each gender.

- and while we're on that subject, at least six romances - two straight, two gay, two bisexual/pansexual. They don't need as many as we had in DAI, but I really want everyone to have options.

- ... and one of the should be a gay Knight in Shining Armour.

- another score by Trevor Morris. He really hit it out of the park in Trespasser, and I'd love to have him back for an encore performance.

- more tavern songs! These were a delightful addition to Inquisition, and I'd love to have them back.

- nuggalopes to ride on. The ability to name the nuggalope Ser Nuggington, Arl of Nugsleigh.

- non-combat pets like they have in Pillars of Eternity. Can you imagine how cute it would be to have a nug or a fennec following the protagonist around ...?

Given time, I could probably think of a bunch of other stuff, but there are some things I'd like to see.

Oh I gotcha Yea I do hate it because I have mad a new character and wasn't able to import my own hawks and stuff into the story.

And we wouldn't have to go through the blow up. Once the conclave explodes then it could just be a white flash and then us being captured by Cassandra and Lileana

Before that we could just explore our clan talk to our keeper or explore your circle talk to others going to the conclave and talk to your first enchanter teacher. An on the journey we end up fighting like wild life.

And that would be cool but would be only for PC obviously and not console. And to add it themselves would have legal mess involved.

- I adore the character creator in inquisition, but I want it to offer even more customization (like a lot of different hairstyles, seperate sliders for e.g. freckles, moles, eyebrow color, horns (please oh god, why did horns and hair share the same slider) and so on). Their character creator is a very important part of the game, they should put a lot of love into it.

- Race selection

- Origins! Please, so many people loved DA:O because of that. It makes me want to replay the game a dozen times, because it's much more interesting than the prologue in DA2 or DA:I. I wish they offered different origins per race again, but included race specific dialogue and reactions from da:i. It makes the gameplay more immersive and interesting. The game is about different choices after all.

- No open world please. Even the giant maps in da:i were too big and had not enough content to make them enjoyable.

- Tactics

- Don't make the protagonist Jesus 2.0., I want to be a mere mortal who can make stupid and selfish mistakes

- Even side quests should give us at least two different choices (like being generous to someone, or demanding gold for work).

- Conversations should be like in DA:O. I should be able to see someone's expressions ("skyrim conversations" are very immersive-breaking) and I would like to talk to my companions outside of my home/skyhold.

Lol oh Yea big sexy Qunari women are a must.

Lol Yea we only get to see male magisters

I don't know I don't want Harding as companion. Would love for her to still give me updates and such though.

That could be cool. I'd love for them to Add Yavana to a game as a companion give her a chance for once.

I agree but not only long but MOVING
They can do a Witcher and just have a outer layer moving or certain pieces SOMETHING

They could do a Witcher and have PhysX support for the hair/cloth/etc.

I gotcha I would like more companion interaction with them would be nice. Maybe you ****** one off so much on a mission they try to betray you. I just don't want it to be with the friendship rivalry gauge thing. I want to have to gauge it myself through how they act around me and talk to me.

I liked the concept of it.  And I think it has potential.  But it needs more work first.

I mean, I did like that you could still be "friends" without having to agree with everything they say.  But the system was still too binary.  If you only agree with some stuff but not others, then they really don't care about you despite all you've been through over the years.

The one thing it needs for me to call it truly amazing is a story that doesn't seem fractured, is compelling, interesting and memorable, and doesn't have a big bad like Corypheus. That's all I need from it. Oh and if it's going to be a case of, "you need x amount of y to complete main quests" I will be pretty annoyed.

Better hair styles

Better beards. Please make them actually look like they're attached to the face, and not hovering infront.

Hairstyes exclusive to males and Hairstyles exclusive to females, rather then having every hairstyle available for both.

Story wise, just give me Prologues for my Character like they did for Origins.

No what I mean is how are you going to kill them?

With my blade, staff or hands. That's how

Or are you asking why would I want to kill them? The answer would be 1) the game lets me if that option is in the game and 2) because I want to. It adds replay value.

I still want it to be realistic. Don't think all of them should be able to die. I believe some should leave before they are dumb enough to die because of you.

I have no problem if they decide to leave.
