I already have Trespasser.  Y'all did this with JoH and Descent as well.

 

• It's lazy programming.  Surely you can find some way to implement a check to see if someone already has it and not throw up that splash.
• It's insulting and irritating.  Imagine if you went and bought a new Ford F-150.  Starting the next day, the dealership you bought it from calls you on a regular basis.  "Hey, we got another F-150 identical to the one you just bought!  Come on down and take a look and buy it!" And they keep calling you to say that.  I've already bought the DLC, I don't like being asked to spend my money on it again.
• It's actually impossible.  Go ahead and right-click on the game in origins and select "View Game Details" and see if there is an option to buy and download an already purchased and downloaded DLC.  So that goes back to lazy.

Look, I love you guys at Bioware and I'll keep throwing my money at you for your new stuff, don't worry about that.  But stop looking like grasping, clawing Val Royeaux merchants.  It's unbecoming.

It's not that big of a deal, but I agree, it should go away. And did anyone else find it really odd they didn't replace the menu with the promotional eluvian picture for Trespasser? They still do it for MP events, so...

Oh, it's not a big deal.  I mean, it isn't like one could point to it for blame if the soybean harvest is bad.  It's just something they should address because it is sloppy and, to me personally, rather irritating.

Strange. I have Trespasser and it doesn't show up for me. I also lack Descent and that doesn't show up either. I'm on PC. I also play offline. Maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure.

 

My only problems thus far are: Origin refused my debit card after accepting it twice for Jaws of Hakkon and Trespasser, and after downloading the updates for Origin I get this stupid error message about a missing .dll file every time I start up Inquisition. The game will launch, but I have to close the error message twice.

Sorry to bring this up again, but I just downloaded Descent, and guess what. Now I'm getting the message to download Trespasser now. So it seems the message is part of Descent. I hope I don't regret spending money and time on this DLC.

 

Also, a new problem. The Fire Starter achievement doesn't unlock for me. I shattered all the ice shards and lit all the fires in the Old Temple. Went back in just to double check, everything is lit except the torches Gurd Harrofson douses. Also, Gurd, the mages, and the bruisers appear again if you go back into the Old Temple as if they are doing the ritual again. But when you go to the boss fight area they are gone.

 

Also, the Focus belt that is supposed to give 35% more focus doesn't do anything at all.

Whoa hey, I was glad to see that. Not only is not a hole cut into the title, they didn't replace the entire title image with a ad!

 

Rather commanding, sure, but I'd take three little words over an obnoxious still swamping the screen anyday.

Another update. I think the message is related to being online, not having Descent. When I went back to offline mode, the message went away. So just play in offline mode.
