I'm thinking about Hawke's cousin Charade
Who would you want as one of your companions in the next game?

super racist human noble that learns acceptance. awe.
sexy desire demon(not choice spirit) that changes sex based on our preferences.
a more qun based qunari. bull was a bit of a copout on that front.
super morally ambiguous mage with cool blue hair.
chest hair.
and a super serious dwarf. they aren't all funny drunks, i know, my dwarf warden was a ******.

Abelas - ancient elf, will be useful against Solas
Michel de Chevin - chevalier
Yavana - necromancer and one of Flemeths daughters
Abelas and Yavana may be dead but Bioware is notorious for bringing back dead characters (e.g. Leliana). Plus, I doubt Yavana is really dead. She's Flemeths daughter AND a necromancer. She wouldn't go down so easily.

Also, proper dwarf (like Ogren) and qunari (like Sten) companions. Iron Bull and Varric were both meant to challenge stereotypes associated with their race and culture but I would like to go back to a more traditional portrayal.

Hell yes. I've wanted to see her as a companion for such a long time.
I like having a character or two to bridge games, and I think Harding would be a perfect choice in that regard.
Maevaris if we're in Tevinter for sure.

Isn't Yavana just dead in the comic, though? Considering all the other stuff that David has going on in there, I think we can safely regard whatever happens as not "official" canon.
I think she's be a terrific choice too, though.

Existing characters:
- Scout Lace Harding: seems like a great way to link the next game to Inquisition and let us know what our old crew are getting up to. (Also: dwarf romance!)
- Maevaris Tilani: If we're going to Tevinter, we'll surely need a Magister in the team, and she's fabulous.
- Calpernia: I don't have my heart set on this, but it would certainly be interesting to have a character go from villain's lieutenant to companion. And she's conspicuously not killed off on screen. My guess is that BioWare have something in mind for her.
New concepts I'd be interested in seeing:
- a dwarf from the Tevinter Ambassadoria.
- a Nevarran dragon hunter. Maybe one of Cassandra's many, many cousins?
- a Dalish elf warrior. With all we've learned about their history, it seems like time for another Dalish companion to react to it all. And we just had an elf mage and an elf rogue in Inquisition, so it's time for another warrior.
- a freed Qunari Saarebas. We've had a loyal member of the Antaam in DAO, and somebody who could go either way in DAI, now how about a tall, horned giant that really hates the Qun?
- a Fog Warrior.
- someone from the Anderfells. We know almost nothing about the place! (I know Anders is originally from the Anderfells, but it's not like he ever talks about it.)

Straight female ancient elvhen supremacist mage with a great, expansive mind, adoration for imperialism and well structured will making her to seek arranged marriage with the best suitor(PC). Chief engineer of elvhen eugenics program and dedicated propagator of selective breeding. Owner of great many slaves, and honey connoisseur. She would communicate mostly in elvhen.

If I get to be my Inquisitor again, kinda like importing Shepard around ME, I'd love to have some old characters like Cassandra and Sten return to mingle with new characters. It'd be interesting having a few picks from each game, like how Varric was in both DA2 and DA:I.

Even though I would like to see Scout Harding again, I'm fed up with having a dwarven rogue companion as we have had one since Sigred? (was that her name??) way back from DA Awakening.

Of the existing characters...
- Charade Amell
- The Dalish agent we pick up from the clan in the Exalted Plains, Loranil
- I'm inclined to include Calpernia, even thought I have never encountered her - a solid counterpoint to Dorian's attitude of 'oh Tevinter's too rich and full of culture to abandon entirely.'
In terms of character types I'd like to see we haven't yet...
- A surface dwarf warrior
- A Kal'Shirok dwarf
- A half-elf from an alienage
- A born-Vashoth who's never known the Qun
- A Tevinter templar

A Minsc and Boo type character would be great! Sticking with Baldur's Gate types i'd really like to see a character an Edwin type - someone unashamedly evil. Or maybe combine the crazy and evil and have some one like Xzar ![]()

A character inspired by Farnese from Berserk would be pretty cool. A Tevinter magister that is specced as a healing mage. Trying to atone for her past while also trying to come to grips with her nature. Maybe she likes hitting people with fireballs a little too much for her own comfort, and feels deep shame for it. Plus, it would give us a cute blonde woman, which has been strangely missing from Dragon Age (Sera excluded).
Have a male Fereldan rebel blood mage be kind of her counterbalance. Let him be a sociopath that revels in his power, and let him instantly recognize her inner self. Would make some good character interactions and banter.
