I freed Blackwall from prison and covered up his lie about his identity. I also forced him to continue working for me and using the name "Blackwall." He didn't seem happy about it.
However, when I go to select those options in the Keep, in order to free Blackwall as a false Grey Warden I must be friends with him. Why?
You need high approval for him to run off to Orlais.
It's more like you were friends, then you made him continue his lie.
I have the same problem, we were friends for a while but he hated me at the end, it would be nice to have this option.
Me too, is this a bug? He definitely did not like my Inquisitor who blackmailed him into staying.
He always dislikes Inquisitors who force him to continue the lie. In order to receive his quest, however, you had to be friends with him. After his judgment, if you tell him to continue his lie he'll hate you no matter what his approval before the quest was.
