How about don't bring characters that you could have killed to live and don't give them role in next products.

Pretty much there was 0 reason to bring Leliana back after origins outside that she is writers pet, thus issue came from bad writing skills. It is good to know that you will accept whatever you are told by writers.

creating a good/great character like Leliana or Morrigan isn't easy.

making that character to be loved by a lot of players isn't easy too. You need to be a good writer, and in addition you need to be lucky. To found the "right alchemy".

Why sholud bioware throw away one of those great characters only because the 2% of the player deliberately and optionally decided to create the conditions of their death?

Leliana,AListair and Morrigan had enough content already for my tastes,Morrigan isn't bearable for players like me one full game (DAO)  one Dlc dedicated to her research and another full game DAI was more than enough to me,another game with her will just inacidate my opinion of her  even more, same for everyone else.
Cullen and Alistair aren't more showed than Morrigan since the former in DAO had a very minor role  and in DAII he had a little side role while the latter had an importat part in DAO but a small part in DAII and a small part in DAI cmpared ot MOrrigan (Gw alistair included) and i'm already tired of them as well.

I agree i would love to Leliana , Alistair and Morrigan and well pretty much old characters to not appear anymore well with exception of Solas for obvious reasons. I said Morrigan is bearable because she is far from most characters that appear she pretty much appeared only in 2 games and 1 dlc compared to Alistair that not only appeared in 3 games but also in EU and well there was quite large break between her appearances.

Great characters heh, Leliana is pure mary sue unless you are talking about dao Leliana where she wasn't bad but pretty average character. That speaks about bioware writing skills if they can't write decent character and need recycle same character over and over again. Honestly i doubt that was reason , writers favoritism toward her is so obvious at this point that it is pretty much clear that devs shove her in most of products becuase she is writers pet.

Also , how do you know only 2 % killed Leliana and then killing her is hardly deliberately unless player is metagaming. If they gave player option and then allowed import their world state yes they should not involve character that have absolutely 0 reasons to reappear

Both Oghren and Anders could have been replaced in their roles after dao and bringing them back wasn't only unnecessary but also bad move just like Leliana.Probably , they will pull of same trick with Calpernia in next game given how they set this up.

Point is, by Inquisition, the damage had already been done, but at least something could still be done about Leliana. The other two were probably never coming back anyway so there's nothing to be done for them in this game, though it was confirmed that if you killed Anders in DA2, he stays dead. They will probably never do this again. As for Calpernia, this character doesn't even exist in some playthroughs, because she only appears if you choose the Templars. Inquisition is probably the last we've seen of her.

What do you mean by something could be done about Leliana , you mean that they could have put her in Inquisition? If we are speaking about that , then practically any character could have been used in Inquisition including Oghren and even Anders just put up random excuse like they do with many characters.

Calpernia does exist even if you side with mages , codex entries mention her she just doesn't show up , considering how bioware handled her "death" and fate it is pretty much obvious they intend use her in next products or at least wanted have door open in such case.

If i recall that was one of venatori codex entries talking about her failing Corypheus task, though possible it was about Samson or both.

I don't like the logic,as i genuinely believe that writers like Gaider and Patrick can create plenty of engaging characters like Morrigan and Solas.
