Pretend it's all a dream like Solas.
But what directs the lyrium's song? The Maker, that's who!
*scoffs* well, it sure as hell isn't the Creators...
Hey this does cover the "But I chopped her head off!" argument too
WOnder if she had a moment like this:

Titians.
That's dumb. Bioware should've never tried to address the retcon they made with DA2 after the damage had been done.

How is that dumb when it's part of the lore? Stuff like this has been happening from DAO.

Does seem weird that neither Cole nor Solas would notice, and that people who have known Leliana for a long time (such as Justinia) would be fooled.
I kind of don't really buy it?
I mean I get it, it's canon, and you can explain some ways in how it works in the mage quest line. Cory is a GOD in that future, everybody in Tevinter is a mage, and you know, Fade shenanigans. That actually makes Leliana's whole thing a lot like a certain someone from Silent Hill, lol. For extra points, consider that the Chantry used lyrium, which can be seriously addictive and used to control those under its spell.
But that said, I never got any indication that she was a ghost. I imagine someone might go around and dig, but for now I'm kind of just going to shrug and say 'well okay.'

Really, really cheap-ass explanation. There was nothing in the whole game that was pointing at this, but then BioWare got a chance to leave some irrelevant note as if we're not overwhelmed with notes already.
Wait, so she was like Cole the whole time? A spirit? That's some sixth sense **** right there holy cow.
Well that's the only way they really can justify someone coming back from the dead.
Pretend it's all a dream like Solas.
Okay.
Thank you weekes. Even if I did not kill her I am glad it has finally been addressed.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to think "Weekes did this!" I'm very pleased with what he's done so far. I don't think he likes plot-holes that big, and this explanation is much better than nothing. So yes, thank you Patrick.
Cabot voice: Also Titans.
