Poor Leli, makes a few mistakes and that's all she is remembered for. At least she did stuff unlike a certain shadow broker.
Obligatory Shadow Broker Liara comic image post.

Huh. Weird.
You know, as much as I really loved David, and I did. But I'm really preferring Weekes right now. He's doing lots of great stuff. He seems to take pains to at least try to close up plot holes and give fans closure.
I've always loved Gaider's work. He's made some of my favourite characters. But I was excited when I learned Weekes was taking over as lead writer. Gaider is a great character writer, but Weekes is a better lead, in my opinion. It is a shame Gaider won't be a character writer anymore either, though.
On the other hand, he is now engaged in one of the things he is best at: worldbuilding, crafting setting lore. It can only be good for whatever that mystery IP he's working on is (And is probably why they transferred him there)I've always loved Gaider's work. He's made some of my favourite characters. Is it confirmed he'll never ever be a DA character writer though? Can't he relatively 'pop in' to do that? I doubt that NewIP is all he'll be able to do.

I guess that's true, especially considering they all seem to be hopping around at this point.

I'm very much looking forward to this new IP they're on about.
OMG now I'm crying. So she DOES die in the Temple of Sacred Ashes...

HOORAY!!!

I might look forward to it if I knew anything about it
Right now I'm just hoping it will be good because Bioware RPGs are my favourite kind of game, but I can't say I'm excited yet.
So she's alive because of some reasons. The End.
If you kill Leliana in origin's and she does not become divine you get this ending for her...
That's one creepy mountain.
It was planned that way. In origin, Oghren states there is a ton of lyrium there. The lyrium brought her back. The Guardian of the Sacred Ashes may have been kept alive because of the lyrium. The lyrium is the Titan's blood. Leliana-Until I'm needed, I am free.
I believe Andraste was brought back by the blood of a Titan.
"When her sister Haliserre died in a violent incident under mysterious circumstances, Andraste was left with a sickness that made her unable to bear children for a decade. She also was known to display strange behavior, such as becoming still for long moments in an trance-like state, after which she would report voices as if from a lost memory and talk of strange auras or the sound of bells."
I bet Lieutenant Renn will be brought back. I don't think the Titans were evil. I think the Elves killed some, not all, for their blood.
I think trespasser brings up a great philosophical possibility of the sundering... the remnants or whatever of the spirit there talk as if there are multiple instances of the spirit all truly one, but split from itself. It brings up an intriguing possibility that these spirits arent' mimicking these people, but are the sundered pieces trapped in the fade. It explains quite a lot actually.. why Wynne survives as long as she does, how Cole takes such a personal affront to what happens to the human that he becomes him, the "immortality" of Cory/Solas/Flemeth (especially Cory, notice the "solution" is to bind the physical form to the fade as well), and of course Leliana... maybe the spiritual portion of Leliana could not let her duty go to the point she "remade" herself as needed.
It also is supported that the Titan and the song is very similar to an eastern "all are one" philosophy... but then, I'm a philosopher (both in heart and by paper
) and I naturally look far deeper into things than maybe I should!
Love your post. I was also thinking of the far eastern beliefs here. Actually, I thought it was a nice touch.
If Renn comes back, I'm throwing a party.
Somewhere.
Me too! I really like the guy.
Remember this Eleni Zinovia in DAO:
“Weep not for me, child. Stone they made me and stone I am, eternal and unfeeling. And I shall endure 'til the Maker returns to light their fires again.”
"The maker" she speaks of could be a Titan????
If Renn comes back, I'm throwing a party.
Somewhere.
And I shall afterwards call him...
Lyrium Snake ![]()
Nice touch, the left hand of the divine was an abomination in a Thedas where Leliana was killed at the ToSA.

Well, what's-her-face stole his body, so who knows what'll happen.
Does seem weird that neither Cole nor Solas would notice, and that people who have known Leliana for a long time (such as Justinia) would be fooled.
Well, for the Divine, I don't think Leliana's personality really changes from Origins to DA2 and DAI, aside from being much more grim (and spy master-y?) from working as the Divine's Left Hand, so that could be an explanation. I mean, the Divine wouldn't recognise something different in Leliana, if her personality wasn't changed significantly. I'mma say that if fans that killed her didn't notice a real change in Leliana, there wasn't anything to be notice.
With Cole, maybe she didn't even know she wasn't alive, and the Spirit Cole was unfamiliar with spirits of involving lyrium, so he . Sometimes it seems like spirits and demons only know about certain things regarding the Fade, much like a person wouldn't know what it's like in a place they've never lived in or been to (it's not like spirits are the particularly communicative sort, not like humans who could just find out that stuff). And maybe the more spirit, less human Cole hasn't furthered his affinity for lyrium-related things.
So in short, maybe Cole doesn't have the knowledge and can't read Leli's mind.
As for Solas? I don't know... Maybe because sometimes it's not elves?
Does it count if I only killed her in the Keep? ![]()

A new contender emerges.

Super convenient that Valta has a widow's peak, by the way. Makes her easier to match up to Tsoukalos' hairline.
Maybe even a little... too convenient.
This clearly demonstrates that every titan theory on the forums is FACT. Titans are the snake-kings of the earth, semi-confirmed rumor.
