Still struggling to beat DA:I, simply because I can't get into the game.. I've watched it as a "movie" when someone cut out most of the gameplay and only added the dialogues, and cut scenes.
And I'm such a huge fan of the ME Universe. I'd probably not give up on ME and BioWare.

There's a peach tree in my backyard. It used to grow the sweetest peaches ever. Then it got blight, and all the peaches are rotten from the moment they bud.
But I keep eating them because maybe someday one of them will taste ok.

I could see not preordering future Bioware games if a person finds Bioware's last few games disappointing, but it would be silly to say, "I'm never buying another Bioware game." A disappointing game could always be followed by awesome one, or vice versa.
It would be smarter just to be more cautious about your purchases, wait for reviews, and/or watch some Lets Plays if you're worried a game won't meet expectations.

That depends on the quality of multiplayer.
When you look to the multiplayer in a Bioware game, you know there's something strange going on. I've never replayed any Bioware game's story save for Mass Effect 2 and Origins. . .which is strange on that later one since I hated Origin's gameplay.

will you give up on Bioware? I will since DAI was a disappointment for me.
I can't be disappointed in MEA. My standards and expectations are low already. For me to be disappointed in it, MEA would have to be so lame. Like somewhere between Battlefield 4's launch or a bad game like Lost Planet 3 or something. I'm not expecting much therefore I can't really be disappointed.
*I gave up on BioWare after Back to back to back meh releases- DA2,SWTOR,ME3*
**I agree with you about DAI. It was better than its predecessor, but that's not sayin' much lol**

I wouldn't really give up on Bioware mainly because they have shown that they were capable of making great games (KOTOR, ME, DA:O) and that means they still have the ability to do so. No matter what happens, I'll still remember the good times I've had with their games and not dwell on the negatives. I'll admit that DA:I was a bit disappointing, especially the ending, but I'll fondly remember me running around, killing dragons.
I even liked ME3 for some reason. Sure some elements of it weren't perfect, but as an overall package, it kinda worked. Worst case scenario, if ME:A disappoints me more than DA:I, I'll just replay ME again and soak in the nostalgia

I completely agree with the last statement. I think one of the most prime examples of this is from Assassin's Creed 3 to Assassin's Creed Black Flag. 3 was such a letdown and it made me wary of playing another AC game again, but then I got BF as a birthday present and it blew my mind. This is the reason why I will never judge a game based on its predecessor.
So what if ME:A disappoints me? I'm still buying the next game, hoping it would be better.

Won't be giving up on Bioware - I still like their games, and they've still got credit with me for making some of my favorite games ever.
And while Inquisition doesn't seem to have as much replay value as most Bioware games do, I'm doing a playthrough right now, after a long pause, and am enjoying it. It's a good game.
However, whether I'll continue with the mass effect series, that's an open question, who's answer depends on MEA.
I might abandon the ME universe altogether in the unlikely case that they didn't learn anything from the ME3 ending fiasco, or learned the wrong lessons (i.e. only listening to the people who complained of lack of closure, and not the people pointing out basic writing blunders and severe conceptual problems.)
After all, it did take me more than a year after ME3 to even consider touching any of the ME games again - I don't think the ME universe could take another screw up like that, and remain something I could make myself enjoy. I honestly don't know how they will salvage the situation after the events of ME3 - all the ending options were flawed or outright horribly thought out, and I get the feeling they are going to have to pick one of the endings as cannon. If they pick synthesis, I'm done with mass effect right there. That's a deal breaker.
All I can say is that I sincerely hope that whatever the plot of MEA, they thoroughly check it for inconsistencies, absurdities, genre violations, basic story telling no-no's, at the conceptual stage. They can take ME3's ending as a text book example of what not to do, as it contains all of the problems mentioned above.
If they don't pick synthesis as a cannon ending for ME3's story, then I'll be happy to give MEA a chance, and I look forward to it.

Nah, I'll probably just hang around spamming threads about how disappointing ME:A was while loudly declaring BioWare has one last chance to make it up to me with their next game.
I love this post so much, that I don't even know how to deal with it. Like, I kind of want to cuddle it.

I doubt Bioware's game is going to disappoint me that much. Bioware as company, well yes, I doubt they could disappoint me more, but I have enjoyed DA and ME games thus far even with their faults so I doubt I'll dislike ME:A either.

I have a feeling old school BioWare and CRPG fans are going to be disappointed no matter what because they always are. Newer fans are more open-mind and forgiving I find. I'm in the middle. Although If it gets below 80 on metacritic I won't touch it to avoid said disappointment.

You mean would I write: Dear Bioware, you ruined my favorite universe. It was the one good thing in my pathetic life. I hate you and am leaving forever. Goodbye. (OP proceeds to create troll threads for weeks thereafter.) You mean that? Nope.
Thing is even with some of the questionable decisions the devs have made they still produce games that provide me with hundreds of hours of enjoyment (minimum.) Compare that with the dozens of games I own that I play a few hours, get bored or frustrated, and never touch again. I hated ME3's ending...as viscerally as any. But even with that atrocious ending it is far and away my favorite...my go-to game. When I'm bored or just need to let off some steam that's what I reach for. For me to give up on Bioware they would have to blunder start to finish...gameplay and story would both have to be really awful. And it's hard to imagine they could f*ck up that badly after spending 3-4 years developing it. Now, of course, if it's another meh DAI clone game, I might reconsider my preorder policy.

As the only cat being in history of humanity which enjoyed ME3 ending (destroying everything - you're so badass that you take everything with yourself to the grave, awesome [I'm aware they had no money for nothing better and I'm happy with this one]) I don't think they can give me bad ending. DAI had bad ending. You're badass, send another badass into Fade (or his dead body) and... you're walking down the stairs, everyone looking at you, you have lame tea party... If MEA has no lame tea party I will be fine. :3

On Bioware? Maybe. On Mass Effect? Never. Its our home. People need to stop with this pre-hating on ME. Its not like they can screw up 2 trilogy endings on the sequence. hehe.

I judge each game on it's own merits as it would be unfair to assume a game currently in development would be bad just because a previous game did not meet expectations.

Is not perfect, it has its problems. But is a game I've played for almost a year and I still play.
I have no intention on buyng MEA before I have the confirmation the ending is anything like ME3.
So I am prepared on not give up on bioware, but on ME.

Bioware would have to make a glitchy mess of a game in order to fully disappoint me. Even if that happened, I wouldn't give up unless the problem wasn't corrected via content patches or dlc.
Dragon Age Inquisition was all that I hoped it would be. There were some minor issues here and there, and I agree with the statement that there were too many fetch quests, but I'm on my fourth playthrough of the game. I've gotten my money's worth out it, easily. I may have barely touched the multiplayer, but from what I've played, I've enjoyed that too.
